Louisianaoutlaw must not be an outlaw at all, since he/she apparently doesn't know the law.

Do reserch before you make yourself out to be an idiot.

I'm sure of that law:) It's a back door "grandfather law"! It's the same way in Nacth. Actually it's the same all over La., unless they have video poker. Maybe you should do a little research, like someone else advised:) Have a great night

I personally think they need to bring in a band that plays more up to date country and play more line dancin music when the band takes a break like extreme caution.the older crowd is not gonna keep this place open the younger crowd is.I along with a few others I talked to where excited to see a bar close to home open up.GET RID of the waitresses Amber and Hana.Keep the waitress Summer she's awesome.

Me and my wife went this weekend. I ain't been out but a few times since we used to party at the Whispering Pines. Great Club. Good atmosphere. Waitresses were good. I think they need to get a better quality of band. Get some headliner's in there like Mr. Earl used to. Or like LAS said get some bands that play up to date country. Band this weekend didn't fit the bill. Breaks were the best part. Glad to see the ol' place open. I won't be there much cause I work offshore, but I'll be there when I'm in. If my wife shows up without me, let me know! haha

LAS, They did call the band Extreme Caution to play there Saturday nite. I had never heard them before, but I was Impressed with the different kinds of music they played. Some of the request they were getting were a lot of oldies and they actually knew them! They didn't do the break music that you were talking about, the club did. The last request someone made was Purple Rain and there again they played it! Impressed!!

I went in this passed weekend and they had a GREAT band. I can't remember the name of them but they were great! The lead singer was a woman. I am a younger woman and I like the 90's country over the new country. I like Texas country and would LOVE to see some of those bands in there. I really enjoyed the atmosphere there! Bartenders are FABULOUS!@LousianaOutlaw.. I believe you need to do LOTS more research, because you are seriously an ignorant idiot. Sure Rockin Rodeo and places in downtown Shreveport you have to be 21 to get in but in Ruston, Monroe, Natchitoches you can be 18 to get into the bars. So please before you speak Louisiana State Law, make sure you have the right terms!!

@LAS-35. Not the same band anymore. Brad left, and the other long haired one with the glasses has left, now. They weren't very good last time I heard them.

I Think the weekend of the 15th and 16th there was two different bands playing, I heard they fired the band Friday night and called in Extreme Caution early Saturday and they were able to make it and play the show.

No, hot shot, you can be 18 and get in a bar! You only have to be 21 to drink! Maybe you should go read up on the la law, buddy!

I think they are doing great ! They want a place were people can come in and sit down ,have a drink and dance to the live bands ! Would rather see an older crowd and not a bunch of riff raff that want to ger sloppy drunk and fight. The older people that like to come in and visit and dance are the one that are tipping the waitress better and have the money to spend . Not everyone is gonna like all the bands ,buy you got to give them time to see what everyone likes .keep up the good work Nonna and Terry !
