I evacuated from Gulfport MS to come to Galveston whenever Katrina ruined my house and I just couldn't deal with one more ripoff artist. I bought a home on Jamaica Beach and used a contractor to do the work that I needed to make it comfortable. I was told I was getting what I was asking for but never really got full details. This work was not done to my wants but it was cheap. This time I looked around (after Ike) to find a G.C. to do all the work to my home from the storm (all downstairs work mind you) I hired JB Contractors out of Alvin after searching and searching. For 30k in work I was very please to see the amount of service and attention I received. A full office staff to always be able to speak intellectually on your project and completed the project even with my many changes of mind, on time and on budget.
I have dealt with a lot of contractors in my time and been disappointed many times. JB will not disappoint, I have referred many friends and fellow Jamaicans to them and all have bought me some sort of gift for my referral.
Use them for what you need or just call for advice. These are some great people.
