1 Have Republicans become so wealthy they’ve nothing better to do than constantly denounce the Center, from the far Right? Bill Clinton offers me a small trace of better, much better times… Which has me wondering how soon W will be going on tour? Him and McSame - promoting the end of the world? Stay tuned! |

1 My God you people have Obama on such a throne. You know nothing about him, and throughout his entire campaign all he has said is the word " CHANGE " When I asked people who at first supported him what type of change does he want to do. They stuttered and said aauuuuuu he wants change. I rest my case. Even today most young people have no idea what his record is in the Senate. In fact he has very little to show for it, and has missed more than 20% on voting. In 2002, as an Illinois legislator, Obama voted against the Induced Infant Liability Act, which would have protected babies that survived late-term abortions. That same year a similar federal law, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, was signed by President Bush. Only 15 members of the U.S. House opposed it, and it passed the Senate unanimously on a voice vote. Jill Stanek, a registered delivery-ward nurse who was the prime mover behind the legislation after she witnessed aborted babies’ being born alive and left to die, testified twice before Obama in support of the Induced Infant Liability Act bills. She also testified before the U.S. Congress in support of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. Stanek told me her testimony “did not faze” Obama. Please ask yourself and others that are in support of him, who is "Bill Ayers" Weatherman underground do search on the Internet, and his relationship to Obama. You have no idea the skeletons he (Obama) has in his closet. But when you put all of them together, Wright,Ayers, and a half a dozen others. There should be so many red flags up he couldn't get voted in as a dog catcher. Do you know to this day he still as not answered the question about Rev Wright, fully. Do you and other supporters believe that up until recently he just found out on who Rev Wright really is. All of you who believe that please take his hand and walk off the Grand Canyon. You better pray that this man does not become our President |

As you may recall, in November, press reports surfaced regarding a questionable land deal between Obama and Antoin “Tony” Rezko, an indicted political fundraiser.
The long and the short of it is that Obama approached Rezko with the idea to simultaneously purchase adjoining lots in Southside Chicago. Rezko obliged. Obama obtained his lot for a reduced price. Rezko later sold a portion of his property to Obama. All of this took place while Rezko was the subject of a federal corruption investigation. Political handicappers have begun to assess what these revelations might mean to Obama’s presidential aspirations, but personally, I’m not interested in the political fallout. The salient question ought to be what do Obama’s dealings with Rezko tell us, if anything, about Obama’s ethics. First, Obama’s dealings with Rezko reveal a politician oblivious to the expectations of at least the appearance of integrity for those in public office. At the time Obama entered into his dubious land deal, it was widely known that Rezko was the subject of a federal investigation for allegedly trying to collect nearly $6 million in kickbacks from government deals. Obama and Rezko have been “friends” since 1990. Obama knew about Rezko’s shady reputation and ought to have avoided the appearance of impropriety. Second, Obama’s dealings with Rezko suggest, at least, that Obama might be the kind of politician willing to peddle his influence. The Chicago Tribune reported that Obama purchased his land for $300,000 less than the asking price, while Rezko’s wife paid full price for the adjoining lot from the same owner. Did Mrs. Rezko partially subsidize the purchase of Obama’s new home? And what of the subsequent sale of a section of the Rezko property to Obama shortly thereafter? Press reports suggest Rezko has raised as much as $60,000 in campaign contributions for Obama. What has he received in return for his generosity? (Such relationships are never one-sided.) New revelations surfaced recently indicating that Rezko was successful in persuading Obama to award a coveted internship with his Senate office to a Rezko business associate.(Incidentally, the business associate, John Armanda, has donated $11,500 to Obama’s campaigns.) Is there more to this story? Third, Obama’s dealings with Rezko suggest that Obama may be willing to cast aside his professed sense of ethics for personal financial gain. Obama, through his dealings with an indicted political fundraiser, was able to purchase his luxurious home at a cut-rate price and expand his property. Obama acknowledged the deal was a mistake, but only after the media made hay of it. |

Yup, it’s begun! And it looks like “Mike” answered my following post:
I was a Hillary boy … I liked Bill and have always admired his brilliant wife. But it looks like the left half of the Democratic Party has taken us to Obama. Actually – his more progressive view are fine with me! Problem is, we’ve the rest of the nation to worry about … that same butch that gave us “W”- Twice… Hillary knows the ropes and knows what Congress will allow. Barack can only hope the anger and disgust with Republican leadership will provide momentum enough to propel his proposals fast. And with a Democrat House and Senate, you’d think they would move … but then so did Jimmy Carter… So, the pragmatic Hillary or the aspirations of Barack? Ideally, eight years of one (in that order), followed by the other may just have saved our butts; putting us on a par with the nations of Europe. As is, the Republican war machine is taking aim at the young Senator -- and they’re out to kill! Look at “Mike” here – scraping away for every tidbit of dirt; and if unable to find it – attempting to build a case upon ANYTHING he finds. America’s not as mighty as it thinks, and as unbelievable as it was to find they’d re-elected the worst president in this nations history it’s now entirely believable that they’d follow it up more of the same -- aka: McSame! |

Dealing with Obama's attachment to certain people that have an anti Americans attitude is not "tidbit of dirt". It's just that people can't see the truth or they don't want to deal with it. For the past 8 years we've had to deal with Bush, and maybe that is why many people have gone so far to the left in believing that Obama is our savior. And refuses to look at the man for who he really is. When a man has pretty much pushed the white side of his family aside so he can call himself a "Black American" isn't worth anything. A man that refused to wear the American flag Pin or put his hand over his heart during the Pledge. What does that tell you about the man and the way he feels about his country. He is such a shallow person and only cares about one thing and that is the " Black Agenda". I know that statement is going to make me sound like a racist so be it. Except for one thing if Colin Powell was there in Obama's place. I would be out there pounding the streets for him. The press has been so Anti Hillary from the start so we have them to thank for this mess, and Obama knows where he owes his thanks too. And lets not forget our DNC leader Howard "The Duck" Dean, what an idiot, they need to run him out on a rail. Hilary by far has so much knowledge and experience and it is ashame that many have just closed their eyes and just listed to the that one word repeated over and over again."change" and most have fallen for it. So Neal do yourself a favor since you don't know who Bill Ayers is do your search. The reason he was never convicted was because of the illegal evidence that was seized by the FBI, and Ayers walked away from the bombings and the killing. If you didn't know this already Obama served on the Woods Board in Chicago where they raised money until Dec 2001. Obama knew then Ayers past, and stated also that Ayers was and is his Mentor just what he said about Rev Wright. |

This story has been floated since the beginning of the presidential race. In every new state it raises it’s rabid head because the right wing bloggers have really struggled to make sure it got to everyone. so again, First, the Wikipedia version regarding Peter Paul. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_F._Paul Beyond Paul’s own website, another site spreading this info is WorldNetDaily. This is a right wing site, mentioned by The Southern Poverty Law Center. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php... This is what Wikipedia says about WorldNetDaily: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WorldNetDaily As a social worker in Oregon in the seventies, I have a certain historical perspective. I so was particularly intrigued when I saw the home town of WorldNetDaily. Some of you near the Medford, Klamath Falls corridor may already know. However, for the rest of you, here is a commentary, that I think elucidates how we are, in part, where we come from: http://www.ashlandfreepress.com/The_Thanksgiv... If dim memory serves the sundown laws were reputed to still be in effect in the sixties. But even after that, I and my co-workers were telling travelers to plan around Medford. I know times change, but sometimes a few people don’t. My point is, this article might or might not be truth. I think the intent of it’s insertion onto a Topix blog site, is clear. Ultimately then, it doesn’t include the support of either democratic candidate. Imagine my amazement then, to find an expanded version of it, on an apparent Obama blog site! http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/blog... The use of this article, depending on future events, appears to be at best a double edged sword for Senator Obama. This is not a good example of vetting, or social geographical understanding. Even though I am a Clinton supporter, I’ve left blogs regarding on this topic and received blogs saying they have no control. Obama’s campaign is apparently determined, along with those special ones from the from right, to blog the trial. If you are also desperate to follow read these: A viewpoint from FactCheck: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/crook... If you really want to waste the rest of the primary season on this and you have Explorer 5, pay the document fees and read what the Court has to say about it, go back to the link you provided: http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/CivilCaseSumma... bc304174 And don’t assume that the noted contempt hearing is about the Clintons. |
Good points Mike … to a point. I find Obama a man of the people, with no ill feelings toward this nation. What do you expect him to do that Congress would allow him to get away with? Either candidate (including McCain) should likely have their head examined for stepping in to clean up this massive mess of Bush. I trust Obama, if not our congress and our system. And keep in mind – the bar’s extremely low! As far as calling himself a “black,” we know better, and so does he… And the contact he lost was with the ‘black side’ of his family; he was raised by the white side wasn’t he? And really, what difference does it make? Not wearing a flag pin or covering his hart tells me he thinks for himself - and likely has too much respect for this nation and its people than to patriotism ‘on his sleeve.’ Remember how fascism’s slated to arrive … wrapped in an American flag! I’ve far less respect for those using patriotism as a guise to gain power -- then trampling over our rights. I suspect I’d sleep well with Mr. Obama in the White House. Barack Obama’s popularity goes far beyond ‘race.’ He’s actually speaking for and to the bulk of American’s; unlike Bush’s small circle of corporate elite. It’s only natural he receive ‘the black vote’-- and right now he needs it. Pretty soon he’ll need all our votes, and I’m afraid that’s what worry’s you. You nailed it with the press, those greedy -------’s saw Hillary as the clear leader and feared loosing millions if the ‘race’ hadn’t closed, so they went after her while ignoring Barack. And it’s paid off big! How many time’s does Oregon’s Primary make a difference?[I live in Oregon] But Barack’s proven himself quite capable of taking the heat and having done his homework… It’s not all blacks and collage kids supporting him – check out the credentials of his “Supper Delegates,” quite impressive! I’ve heard enough about the ‘Ayers connection.’ Politics’ makes strange bedfellows! JFK is generally thought of an excellent President, despite his mafia connections… And let’s not forget McCain and his “Keating five.” And there’s likely as much to both connections as there was “White water.” These are US Senators, not terrorists. Do you really think Obama’s planning the demise of America? I think they’re all modern day patriots, with their own way of showing it. If it comes down to Obama vs. McCain I’ve no fear of voting for Barack Obama … but right now I’ve still got to decide between Hillary or Barack in the Democrat Primary (here) in Oregon! Thanks for the decent dialog, can’t say I expected it. Aren’t we all patriots at heart? |

Obama is a racist who befriends other racists such as Jeremiah Wright, and Louis Farrakhan. He will never get my vote...or the vote of 70% of Hillary supporters, who will change party, and vote McCain if Hillary is not the Pres. Nominee, and Obama is. So far, Miracle Boy has NOT won with: hispanics, gays, farmers, seniors, women, white collar whites, blue collar whites, union members, etc, in a big enough way to defeat McCain in Novemeber. B.O. can not win the Presidency. All he can do is to rip it away from Hillary, and hand it to McCain.

KKKers are coming out of woodwork.
If Obama can't beat McSame its over folks. A doddering old fool he he he heing and whistle whistle whisteling thro his teeth what does this do for an empire in decay due to its craven support of ME fiend. |
|
I wouldn't be so loose saying that kkkers. For the most part it's okay for other races to come out and put down the whites. But if someone should sya something about a Black and it has nothing to do with the persons race. They still come out and call the person a Black hater. Tell me that I'm wrong. |
|
You hit it right on the nose about his relationships, it's too bad that the Obama supports really doesn't see his true roots and who he considers who is mentors is. Keep spreading the word and open peoples eyes before it's too late. Lets hope that the rumor about her running as an independent is true. Teddy Roosevelt ran as an Independent when he lost his bid for the GOP and won. So lets hope history will repeats itself for Hillary. |
|
Let me tell you about that doddering old fool. You and most Americans including myself would never have held up on what he went through in Vietnam. And although I don't like the fact that another Republican might be in office. But the choice between the lessor of two I would prefer a doddering old fool than someone that will have a Black agenda. Again has stated before if Colin Powell was the one running instead of B-"Insane" Obama I would vote for Powell without giving it a second thought. |
|
Well put! I detect religious fears deeper than racial… It’s the new fear of Muslims that secretly rile Obama detractors – though they’ll rarely admit it. And Mike, how many of us could have held up under McCain’s 30,000 feet carpet bombing runs? You know, he may have deserved what he got – at least he’s still alive. How many more innocents will die under another Republican Administration (including our own)? I’ll take a man of mixed race with a taste of multiple religions long before I’ll vote for another flag-wrapped Republican. 2fer’s description of an “empire in decay” is where the likes of a war-monger like McCain and his flag-wrapped chicken-hawk predecessor (and Vice) will continue to “lead” us. No thanks! If it’s not Hillary – it’s Obama for me! |
|
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW STUPID YOU JUST SOUNDED WITH THIS STATEMENT?"And Mike, how many of us could have held up under McCain’s 30,000 feet carpet bombing runs? You know, he may have deserved what he got – at least he’s still alive." How dare you to stand here and say that he deserved the torture that he was subjected to. They weren't water boarding him. They were hanging soldiers by their feet, and beating them. Holding their feet up and hitting the bottoms with Bamboo sticks. Pulling their arms back as far as they can, and for what? Most of the time it was to force them to turn against our country and make statements against it. And you're right at least he lived. Thousands that were in there never came back. I hope everyone with any sense comes back with non stop comments about what an idiot you and other ares that even thinks that Obama is better than McCain. Am I thrilled about the prospects of another Republican in office no way. But it's better than being sold out by someone like Obama. Why do you think Hamas is so thrilled about the possibility of Obama winning. Because they will use every thing possible just to get him to give in to them, and they will use him. And it will come back and hit us harder than what happen on 911. |
|
|
The nail on the head Mike? And how dare you ‘stand there’ proclaiming what your guy “went through in Vietnam” was heroic without considering what he did to the innocent’s on the ground. No – holding this old man up as a war hero is much easier and politically safer … but you know what – we should all know better by now! In fact, it’s the same crap Bush-the-second has been pulling off in Iraq, while promoting the heroics of those having launched cruse missiles from carrier decks… I’m willing to consider both sides – are you?
My suspicion with you (as you appear to be spamming this forum against Obama) was nailed by my leadoff comment:“I detect religious fears deeper than racial… It’s the new fear of Muslims that secretly rile Obama detractors – though they’ll rarely admit it.” Care to admit it? You’re pushing the same radical “Christian Agenda” as has the current Bush Administration (along with your guy McSame) as you both attempt to wrap yourselves tight in the American Flag. How dare you! So one worthless war begets another? And anyone dishing it out is immune to the consequences of their actions - Admiral’s boys or not? And what about your Bush Administration’s torture agenda? It’s not OK for those we invade - but it’s OK when committed by us? You appear a creature of double standards. Your man “McCain” may duck his responsibility for death and destruction by calling it “following orders” in Viet Name – but lets stop short of calling him a “hero.” “Hamas” is likely pleased American’s are considering someone willing to consider their view of stolen land (Palestine) with legitimacy – not the continued blind support of conflict in that region because it plays into your biblical apocalyptic dreams. You’re out to discredit Barack Obama; some will see through you, other’s won’t. Fortunately, my home state of Oregon has an excellent track record of the former; and you may have just cast ‘our’ vote for Barack Obama! |
