California Builder RW HERTEL & SONS, Inc. builds Defective homes, Sues his buyers if they complain of Leaks, MOLD and Defects is UNDER Investigation's for building Shoddy Homes, and Criminal Acts related to illegal dumping of Construction Dirt into the Clean Rivers of California. EAGLE POINT DO A search before you buy a Hertel home and get it inspected for MOLD, Leaks and other defects.. Be warned they will sue you if you find leaks in your Home !!!!!!

I know we bought a home from Hertel and it leaks and then we found mold, broken pipes, leaking windows, leaking roofs ceiling you name it the homes Hertel builds leak and they will NOT fix them they lie, cheat and cover up, I know of several owners who got sued for telling them the builder (Hertel) of the defects and Mold and leaks Hertel then sues to silence them so my advise and opinion is NOT to BUY any home built by Hertel even as they sneak into Oregon to build under different names Hertel is a corrupt and lying cheating builder do not be scamed..

Yes, they are also being sued by the " The Arbors HOA" those homeowners have bought Hertel's defective. Leaking and Mold laced homes as well it is now ready for Trial in SLO Superior Court. Always check the records on Hertel he is a lying con man and scam artist and well known defective home builder from El Jardin at Las Lomas in Atascadero, CA to now THE INN AT EAGLE POINT, in Oregon !!!!!!!!

Many of us home owners in Cental Coast of California have been screwed by Ron Hertel and his Buddy Bob Fowler and Jim Burns, so join the club good news is a Grand Jury is investigating them for Fraud, Theft, tax Evasion etc.. so hand tough there Lawyer is also under a Criminal Investigation as well it takes time so just gather any evidence you have and send it to the CSLB under the Hertel investigation or to the Dept. of Justice Civil Rights white collar division in DC they will contact you.

Well, so much for Hertel's New Roofs we get home tonight and low and behold our home is leaking from the ceiling and the walls around the fireplace and all over the windows upstairs and down stairs ! Hertel your a liar cheat and nothing but Bull faced crook, two of my neighbors say they too are getting leaks from last night's rain all since you put the New Roofs on ! Mold is next and guess what tomorrow I am contacting the CSLB and an Attorney you can not be trusted.. your a FRAUD >

More Hertel leaking and cracking homes today Hertel had to break off the major part of the foundation of 1753 Singletree Ct. owner Frank Luna says the homes are defective and leaking because the homes are built on a marsh and now the Builder is having to re-do the slab since it is causing the homes to sink in the marsh. so much for RW hertel's building homes. Rancho Obispo Homes are a mess with leaks and mold two more homes now have more leaks and mold after the builder was told by CSLB to replace all the defective roofs. the new ones are worse than ever.

No shit my home is one of the many that still leaks and of course Hertel is NO Where to be found hiding like a Scum Bag COWARD that is is, probably stoned and drunk somewhere in his cess=pool of crap homes

THANK YOU, I used your information and found several CSLB issues against Hertel and I called them as well they informed me they have a still open many cases against them and an ongoing investigation. RW Hertel is the "Target" of a multi agency enforcement action with several State, Local and Federal Investigations. They apparently according to one investigator are one if not the most corrupt and dishonest substandard builder in California.

I was also told that back in May they started a phony front company called 5 Mile Bridge for a "New Wine operation to hide the money they stole over the defective homes they built. Ron Hertel Bob Fowler are the two principals and RW Hertel & Sons other crook Tom Habbick is suppose to run it. If it is like there building it will FAIL and the Wine will be just as defective as their MOLD ridden homes

Wine is the VERDOT Group, LP with partners Ron Hertel and Robert Fowler in Temelton, CA they think they can hide the monies in the Wine business

Probably that is where Hertel got caught building substandard homes and is facing legal action and that is where so many owners got cheated by him. Makes sense to me
