bottom line, I haved lived in jacksonville for 27 years, once a quiet community, ever seen pleasentville the movie. same thing. now it has been compromised by greed, expansion and one of the worst traffic problems any small town can face.. we want peace, a quiet and safe place to live and watch our kids grow up. the Opp mine and all the money it will bring can go away. no more traffic and noise. anyone that wishes to ruin this wonderfull town sucks.....

J'ville....who are you?
I've lived in Medford for 57 years...so, I'm senior.
YES...the whole damn area USED to be a quiet community, and I agree that it has changed for the worse! Put the blame where it's deserved:
1) Jackson County Commissioners
2) Jackson County Planning Commission
3) Medford Mail Tribune (Editors)
4) All the Californians, Californicating Oregon,(for obvious reasons)
So, why am I still here?
But, I'd leave forever, in a heartbeat, if I could get by withOUT it.
