build on sand ... get washed away

A mudslide just killed 100+ Washington State home-owners. They built on a notorious sand/gravel hillside and got swept-away. Too much water caused the ground the liquify. I think families will sue-the-state for permitting ANY residential development on that dangerous land.

How many sea-side building Duval County residence are waiting for the next big storm ... to sweep-away their land, homes and lives ?

Will their families sue Duval Country or Florida for permitting seaside sand-dunes & filled-swamp to be developed? Do they plead for the public monies right now to "protect" erosion-exposed beachfront that cannot be protected! Can they afford to pay their own insurance right-now, or do the Feds subsidize unsustainable fatKat mansions ??

Here's the rule: you want the view ... expect to get scr*wed.
