2 It is sad when people like you can't tell fact from fiction or a joke from reality. How many times (since you want to pick and choose which lines of a half speech you analyze) did he say he is a pastor not a politician? Of course you will not recognize that, and of course you will not say how he said about showing patriotism his Goddaughter is deployed, he served 6yrs in the Navy/Marines but VP Cheney used his wealth to get deferrments to get out of going into the war (Vietnam). So please tell the whole story and stop acting like a FOX surrogate by the way you blog or report. |

1 On 9/11/01: "We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye," Wright said. "We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost." On blacks & patriotism: "The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our black citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme." Promoting Obama's candidacy in a sermon last December: "Barack knows what it means to be a black man to be living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people. Hillary can never know that. Hillary ain't never been called a (Deleted, derogitory term for a black person)." |

1 Your third grade teacher said that Martians are taking over the world by placing mind control substances in our childrens' breakfast cereals. You must believe that as well, right? I mean, your 3rd grade teacher, your "mentor" said it so it must apply directly to you. Idiot. |

2 The people that were stupid enough to equate Rev. Wright's statements with Obama's beliefs weren't going to vote for Obama anyway. All the Rev. Wright "controversy" has done is provide the bigots with an excuse not to vote for Obama without admitting that they just don't want to vote for a Black man and solidified the opinions of those who were already decided against him. Anyone on the fence that is dumb enough to let this be the tipping point would have fallen to McCain once the Republicans turn their smear campaign into full drive as they do for every single election. The rest of us don't need a media frenzy surrounding someone's ex-preacher to help us decide our vote. |
I didn't spend 20 years in 3rd grade listening to the preaching of my self proclaimed "mentor". If my pastor would have said these things I would have got up walked out and never returned. B. Hussein Obama chose to stay at that church and financialy support the racist messages that are being broadcast from there each Sunday |

As I said...anyone who is dumb enough to believe that the statements of Rev. Wright equate to Obama's beliefs and policies wasn't going to vote for him anyway. Your justifications have no bearing on this election. I assume that since you've made such a bold statement about what you would do in such circumstances, you, unlike Obama, have attended every single public speaking engagement of your pastor for the past 2 decades and can fully attest to every single opinion he has expressed. Because although Obama was not present at the speaking engagements and sermons that have been spread all over the media, when he WAS made aware of them, he immediately disavowed those statements. Of course, that doesn't matter to you because you're not voting for Obama no matter what the truth is. That's fine. Vote for who you want. Don't vote for who you don't want. But claiming the reason you're not voting for him because of something someone else said when he wasn't there just makes you look like a moron. |
Racist? Lets' see, BET, NAACP, United Negor Fund and now an attck on the Black Church? Black this and Black that no wonder ALL others race can't stand you or your religous bigots. |

i don't equate the statements of wright to obama because noone can find any instance of obama agreeing with wright. that being said, this "reverend" did not start spewing his hatred when he informed his congregation that he is resigning, but it has been occuring for years. obama had to have heard what outrageous comments his pastor said, and yet he stayed. it does not speak to his viewpoint, but his judgment. surely there were times when he attended church after missing a previous sermon to hear people saying "man, can't beleive what pastor wright said last week". the statements were not secretly recorded but on video sold by the church. he claims to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. i can't help but wonder which Jesus? certainly not Jesus Christ the Messiah of the bible. it is quite fitting that he has praised louis farakkan, the Nation of Islam leader. is he possibly speaking of the Jesus of Islam?

You should avoid using the phrase "you all's" when you're breaking out the thesaurus to try and come across as an intellectual. A well-rounded vocabulary only impresses when it’s accompanied by correct grammar. In the absence of properly employed grammatical diligence, diverse application of creative word choice don’t do much to illicit the desired reverence for ya’ll’s intelligence. See what I mean? |
We should start "White History Month" and see what kind of reaction we get. Maybe lets start up a NAAWP. |
|
There already is one. The guy that formed it almost started a riot when he tried a public forum. Remember: it's only racism if it is directed against blacks. If it's directed towards caucasians its called expression. Just ask the racist Al Sharpton. He might not have time to answer you because he's busy shutting down New York City. Sounds like a racist terrorist bigot to me .......... |
|
Being a grammarian doesn't imply intelligence. If you actually were intelligent you wouldn't use words like "playa". Spent plenty of time reading in jail, eh? |
