This links right back to the same book, so it's really the same source. A whole lot of links to the same book does not equal a lot of sources proving that conservatives give more than liberals. If they counted Warren Buffet in with the liberals, that raised our average household income a bit. I wonder which camp Bill Gates is in?

Also, we don't get to count the money we hand out to someone, or the donations we make to someone in need if he or she is not a registered charity, so I don't think you can really pin these numbers down.

Having said that, it is entirely possible that conservatives give more; I certainly can't disprove it. I feel very comfortable with the amount I am donating and with the causes I am supporting, none of which engages in proselytizing those who may not be interested in being converted.

Buffet? The man that has Bankrupted Nations with his currency games? Do you really want to use him as a Obama supporter? Obama already has enough filth in his bed.

John McCain is a kept man...Cindy's monkey with access to more houses and money than he can count...I say shame on him...only 105K and 1.8 mil from his book royalties...a pittance.

The Obama's have to live on their income...McCain's income does not matter...he gets his welfare check from Cindy.

If you believe that is compassionate...you probably are a conservative.

The definition of ownership is "the legal right to possession." They have a right to their property. Not you. It isn't yours. It's theirs. And if Cindy McCain wants to give complete control of her family money to John McCain - that is her business and no one else's.

This is a democratic society. I could care less how many houses they have. In fact, I'm not surprised that they have multiple homes. They're rich. Rich people have more than the average person. Her dad earned that money, and passed it to his daughter. That was his legal right to do so. How in the world is that any of your business? Thinking so is indicitive of someone who supports wealth redistribution. And that is a socialist (a/k/a communist) way of thinking.

Stop worrying about how much money other people have, go earn your own and buy as many houses as you can. That will be your business.

Great point. And that was nothing more than side stepping. A pitiful attempt to at least. Now the fashion in which McCain GIVES AWAY his money is wrong? Amazing. I have complete confidence that Parker isn't donating anything, just a narrow-minded opinion totally unsolicited. And that isn't worth having, even though it's free.

Scott,

I have plenty. I have read a few of your comments and it's easy to read who and what you are and what you believe.

Juliana, everything about any politician is everyone's business. THEY SPEND OUR MONEY. Nothing is off-limits, character does count. This is a democracy and they choose their paths.

His right to his property is his business. Whether he can afford 2 or 20 houses, is his business. They're rich. Not everyone can be rich. I don't hate them for that. His wife inherited a fortune, and that is her legal right to that money. The gov't shouldn't take it from her and redistribute it to welfare moms around the nation. How would that be in keeping with a democracy? Obama is rich too. He has more money than the average American will ever have.

How predictible of you. You aren't intelligent enough to have a discussion, so you drop it down to your level. I have a professional degree. I earn an honest living, and I've worked for everything I have. I don't have my hand held out like you do obviously, and that bothers you. You clearly can't do things on your own, and you are so afraid people like me will prevent the gov't from giving things away to classic underachievers like yourself. You're truly pathetic. Give it a rest.

Parker is an uneducated troll who cuts and pastes all day long. And who thinks youtube and/or Wikipedia should be considered official sources of information. And when a truly educated person comes along and won't follow blindly, she is so bothered by that. Seriously. Can you believe someone doesn't have more of a life than that? She tries to target me, because I am not shy about discussing issues and giving my opinions. I'm not defined by money, but I'm confident I have a lot more than Parker will ever see. What a pitiful little person in every way possible. She can continue to spout her nonsense, and I'll continue to be myself. I don't need Parker's approval. How sad for her.

Parker,

I stated this clearly under other threads where you've stalked me: I am not gay and I'm not interested in a relationship with you!!!!! Say what you will, but you attack every comment I make and now you're trying yet another angle. It is as pathetic as a 5th grader hitting and running from the girl he likes. I don't like you. At all. Go to a dating service. This isn't that type of site. Really. You're making an utter fool out of yourself.

No, I think you take issue with every statement I make. I think that because that's been your pattern and you're now predictible. You're obsessed with trying to force your views (really others' opinions - because you mostly cut and paste) on everyone else. You think, for some unknown reason, that everyone has to agree with you or else they are stupid, a liar and now even a prostitute. That is a reflection on you. Not me. You have to look at that in the mirror.
