Do you believe that 50% of this country is truly starving for strong leadership when it comes to the economy? IMHO, at best it would be 50%, we know that 46% of Americas (depends on the poll) are not starving for economic freedom but for government servitude. That is my greatest concern for the election in November, has enough of America accepted the concept of government servitude as a far better way of life than Freedom and Liberty.
Here is a staggering number: The total America work force is approximately 155 million people and 46.7 million people receive food stamps as of August 2012.
That means 3.3 workers support ever food stamp recipient. Look at your paycheck and your children’s future paychecks. 3.3 workers
I hear you. I think too many Americans look at their own financial status, and fail to try and see if/how "they" created it and how "they" can change it. Many only vote according to what they think will benefit them financially. I believe that's where it ends for a lot of folks. The greater good of the country needs to be the focus. You're right. The future of this country depends on it.

No..

I believe that over 50% of this country are nothing more then idiots..

After all Bush was elected twice who put us in this mess in the first place with the wars, and the no accountability behind the 9/11 attacks that gave him the freedom to do anything that he wanted.. Obama just went with the flow and f$$ked us again with insurance mandates...

And you think Romney is going to save you? hahahahahha!!!

50% of this country should be lock and loaded in my opinion..

Dolander, I am subject to agree with you about the 50% comment, although “idiots” might be a little strong. As for Bush you know how I feel about some of his policies but just remember your party gave us Al Gore and John Kerry as alternatives. Odds are very good you would be posting nearly the exact same comments if either or both had been elected instead. Yeah right Obama went with the flow al be it he added tri 175 out boards to the boat.

And no I am not looking to Romney as the savoir; it is going to take far more changes to the government than just one man. However, I know what Obama has and will continue to do. My hope is that Romney will at the least slow the march toward complete socialism and at best he will lead us away from that disaster.

How did you come to that conclusion?

I believe that if the US supreme court hadn't given Bush the election you never would have seen terrorist attacks on 9/11..
I base my conclusion on the fact that Bush ignored warnings from the Clinton administration concerning the threat of terrorism.. Could it be that Bush was involved in the attacks as well? My best guess is yes being that Bush controlled the single investigation concerning the attacks...

Bush was the worst president that this country ever had.. Thats a fact.. Just look at the mess he left behind..

Anyone would have been a better president then Bush.. This country will never dig itself out of the hell hole that Bush put it in.. And he got away with it..

No, I disagree.[Clint Eastwood],[Glenn Beck],[Anne Coulter],[Sarah Palin],[Rush Limbaugh],[ad nauseum] need to sit in the back of the GOP bus. They make the party look stupid and the stuff they are saying, when interpreted literally, doesn't represent how the majority of the GOP really thinks.
I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are just reckless and push the envelope just for ratings (or in the case of Eastwood to promote his latest movie), but there are days when I consider wether they are really working for the Democrats and the intent is to damage the credibility of the GOP. Mitt Romney might actually start expressing his own intellect more if he weren't surrounded and infludenced by so much stupidity.

No, I'm not voting for Obama. I'm still voting for Romney, but not because I've been impressed by anything that went on at the GOP convention.
Why? Because when given a choice between two groups of idiots, my idea is that we should split them up evenly so neither group gets too much power.

Yeah, the people of America hold out collective breath waiting for Obama or Romney to save us. These guys don't have a clue what the bulk of Americans really think.

The fact is both groups that you speak of run hand in hand because both groups support crony capitalism.. Nothing will change with a vote ...If you want REAL change you need to lock and load, in my opinion..

The way I see it .. This government has no problem sacrificing the blood and money of others to satisfy its own self serving needs with their corporate counterparts.. The on going wars and insurance mandates proves that to be true..

If you think Romney will balance out the power then you havent been keeping up with past and current events.. You live in a dream world, which is exactly where they want you to be..

Not me..

Rightwing conservatives do not support birth control or abortion.. You have even proclaimed yourself to be a rightwinger in this forum..

Instead of wondering.. Why dont you take your head out of the toilet and take in a deep breath of fresh air before you go running your mouth off about something that you know nothing about??

The tax money that is used to support poor folks with kids, is nothing compared to the money that is spent with insurance mandates and wars to support the kids of the leaders of crony capitalism...

At least Dirty Harry didn't say "let God go" 3 times.

On second thought maybe he did in the feeble minds of Obama's supporters.

Think about it libs.

Does this represent the real values of the Democratic party ?

Sadly , it does !

Insulting Islam can get you killed, but yet denial of the holocaust can get you tosses in prison in some countrys that the US is allies with... Do you see the hypocrisy?

The US has been in Afghanistan for over 12 years now and Allah is alive and well kicking a$$, while the US government is bankrupting itself with the wars at the same time..

That was my mistake.. I was 4 beers under the wind and didn't check the location ... To bad that they dont make the ip addresses public in the forum..

Welcome to the club of intellectuals, my friend.. When someone hijacks your user name, it means that they have run out of reasoning to debate you with.. They have a grudge, and are insecure so they take the cowards way out to get even.. It has happened to me many times in this forum as well..

Obama is just handing Wall Street trillions of dollars and it's not going to stop unless somebody removes Bernanke. Romney at least is smart enough to know that Obama's policies can cause another 1929. Take off your tin foil hat and get real.

As for the Hispanics. Add them to the list of stupid people.

The world is blowing up around us due to the incredible incompetence of a failed presidency.

Obama has failed on foreign, domestic, military, and fiscal policy. If you see the movie "2016" by Dinesh D'Souza, you will understand the truth.. that Obama is destroying America from within... ON PURPOSE.

Wake up America. This guy is NOT what he purports to be. Make sense to you that we give billions to governments who kill our diplomats and burn our flags? Make sense to you that we try and negotiate with the Taliban while surrendering all our military gains and giving them our exit strategy? MAKE SENSE TO YOU THAT OBAMA HAS SPENT 6 TRILLION AMERICAN DOLLARS.... MORE THAN ALL PRESIDENTS BEFORE HIM COMBINED, WHILE BORROWING 40 CENTS OF EVERY DOLLAR SPENT FROM THE CHINESE AND RUSSIANS? MAKE SENSE TO YOU THAT, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY OUR DEBT-RATING HAS BEEN DOWNGRADED TO -AA... TWICE NOW IN THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

Do not believe the Obama lies.
