Eastwood was, indeed, wonderful. He showed that even Hollywood is fed up with the mismangement of our country. His satire was spot on!

Eastwood is brain dead.. His being there proves that to be true..

Many folks are fed up with the management of the government.. It didn't start with Obama and it will not end with Romney..

Eastwood is an experienced businessman, leader and politician himself. He rocked it!

Looks to me like the "King of Wisdom" is dumb as a brick and has learned absolutely nothing the last 3 1/2 years.

Clint Eastwood ROCKED the convention, and put Obama's re-election bid where it should be... in the toilet.

Where were you at during the 8 years that Bush ran the country into the ground? My best guess is that you had your head in the toilet mouth fishing for turds..

Dinesh D'Souza documents why and how Obama is destroying America from within. See this before you vote. It's that important.

Eastwood was brilliant... you need to look at it again. Granted, he's 82 yrs old, and has never played standup comedy... but listen to what he was SAYING...

We are in the llth hour of the most important election of our time. We have a president who has proven to be a disaster... and much worse.

Watch the movie "2016" out now in theaters; I saw it last night. Powerful evidence that Barack Hussein Obama is every bit the communist revolutionary that his father was, and working to destroy this country from within.

Dinesh D'Souza's speech was an eye-opener at CPAC. Hey, it's your country too. Watch and learn... I don't care WHAT political persuasion you are, this man, Barack Hussein Obama, is DESTROYING THIS COUNTRY FROM WITHIN:

Eastwood had the courage few in Hollywood have. Watch the movies he's directed ( eg. "Flags of our Fathers"), and you will see the true measure of a man who should be revered as an American hero.

Eastwood was wonderful. He was to the point and highlighted how the current president is like an empty seat. We need a leader to sit there.

Most Americans do view him that way. There will always be those that are so insecure about their candidate's abilities that they can't handle even a bit of humor. Eastwood was awesome!!

I agree Larry. Eastwood was a hit. He nailed it and his metaphore was appropriate.

Big Eastwood fan and IMHO he may be a better director than an actor. However, using the word brilliant for his stand-up act last Thursday might be a stretch. So how much of the convention did you watch? Personally I watched very little already know who I am voting for and besides I do not need a bunch of media hacks telling me what I just heard.

It was a brilliant metaphore, considering that this country has been starving for strong leadership in the midst of an historic economic recession. Unlike many of the Hollywood elitists, Eastwood is a successful businessman himself. He has also taken more than a passing interest in his own community by becoming the (former) mayor of his hometown.

Do you believe that 50% of this country is truly starving for strong leadership when it comes to the economy? IMHO, at best it would be 50%, we know that 46% of Americas (depends on the poll) are not starving for economic freedom but for government servitude. That is my greatest concern for the election in November, has enough of America accepted the concept of government servitude as a far better way of life than Freedom and Liberty.

Here is a staggering number: The total America work force is approximately 155 million people and 46.7 million people receive food stamps as of August 2012.

That means 3.3 workers support ever food stamp recipient. Look at your paycheck and your children’s future paychecks. 3.3 workers
