All of you should be ashamed of yourselves John worked with my husband and is a great guy. I moved here from up north and yesterday when i went to jax for the first time in my life, i was scared to even go into the hospital to see my friend that is fighting for his life. Why? why are people so violent here? What makes someone angry enough to try to kill a guy that would give anyone the shirt off his back. I hope you can take the time to realize that John was not a thug or a dealer or even a buyer he is just a good guy and now he's fighting for his life. FOR WHAT?

If you guys cant send up prayers, for John... then you dont need to be saying anything at all...especially if you dont even know the story behind this!!! John is fighting for his life and all you guys can think about saying is "OOh just another SHOOTING". Right about now, he needs prayer! I would appreciate it if you kept your negative comments to yourselves. God is a healer and a keeper. Thanks to Amber, and Mike for your kind words. Please keep him in your prayers as well as our family.

We have every right to be negagtive. We live in a city where every day there is a shooting, sometime multiple shootings in one day. We are all tired of it. We know that the victim or criminal is someones child or parent. If Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton would come down and try to stop it, that would be great, love to have them here if they can assist in stopping the crime. Only one problem with that, they would only come if it were white on black crime. If people would start standing up and telling these thugs and murderers we have had enough, and start turning them over to the authorities, and our SA would start prosecuting, then maybe some of these loved ones would still be alive.

John is not a thug...John works a 9-5 just like you and I. And he probably makes alot more money than you guys do (his 1day in comparison to a lower class individual's 3 days)I dont have to give details,...does that save a life...does that change what happened...or what else can happen...No. I agree James, however, the racial comments at hand are not necessary. All im saying is, if you guys dont have anything positive to say, towards our family or friends or his co workers...then just dont say anything. I am an Evangelist so I will not follow suit with the racial statements. Our concerns right now are in the well being of our loved one. John didnt bother anyone, was very giving, loving, and an honest hard working man. Anything I needed, he made sure I had it... even if it was his last. So if you guys dont know him, then you dont need to insinuate his persona.

you wont give details? why not? was he there for unsavory reasons? if not, there is no reason to keep it to yourselves...
