I watch the Morning Show each morning and enjoy

give us the news. It would be a dull job of
reporting when everyone has a sullen look on their
face. I for one would not watch them. I hope
they do not change.
When Stacy Spanos smiles while she's talking about some kid getting butt raped I have a problem with their LACK of professionalism.
Or when Leather faced Bruce makes his daliy stupid comments to Casey it also shows.
Have you even seen any other markets?
I think Wichita or Buffalo might have more talent.

Why is it you people always got to criticize and find the negative in everything? I used to live in Jacksonville and i happen to like First Coast News. My favorites are Jeannie Blaylock and Patricia Crosby.

I think that Stacey Spanos is a unprofessional. She is so "happy faced" when there is bad news. How sad - all we can do is change the channel.

Dang someone enlighten me on this one.
This sounds better than Darryl Tardy trying to blow a cop over at Tillie Fowler park.
Tis true, tis true. Then shortly after Darryl Wayne was moved to Orlando, Mickey Mouse went missing :p

The weatherguessers on 4 and 12 are the worst, they never can get it right and Rebecca Barry is the worst.Jamie Warriner on 30/47 is the best hands down.I've noticed alot of the news anchors/reporters use their hands to "talk," this is unprofessional and distracting.Breaking news on 4 is always a day or two old.Surely a city as large as Jax has got to have daily news!

Rebecca Berry on Ch.4 sucks....she never gets the weather right. Whoever gave her the job should be fired.

The newswomen on ch.4, Casey Black, Rebecca Barry; channel47, Dawn Lopez have worn identical dresses, wrap with ruffled edging, tie belt, different colors. They wear these dresses often, they look sleazy and should never wear them again.

You must be in prison where the weather forecast doesn't have any bearing on your life's activities.

Julia Crowley I miss. The original Julie Watkins I miss...not the current version. Worst? for smugness, Sam Kovaris. but the absolute worst has got to be that idiot that runs the 'Cush Cam' at the end of FCN Sports Final. I sprint for the remote everytime that comes on. why he gets air time is beyond me...i'd rather look at 10 minutes of them filming a boulder....or a Jon Gosselin interview. Same thing.....

1. Maybe they share the same wardrobe. There's hardly any real competition anymore among the stations, ad since some have combined forces (i.e. 30 and 47) to save money (or, get rid of good people), I wouldn't be surprised if they all borrow or rent their clothes from the same source.
2. If you or I made as many errors in our jobs as the meteorologists made in their predictions. we'd not have a job.

Shame on the soulless vultures of THE local station for their voyeuristic, manipulative, self-important, and exploitative "coverage" of the recent tragedy. There should be a law against putting a camera in the face of the victims of violent crime at the most vulnerable point of their lives. People should be allowed to grieve in private. Any person watching the horrendous, exagerated, drawn out purposeful pouring of salt into the wound of this crime, who wasn't nauseated isn't human. What purpose does it really serve to gawk at this spectacle? I'm sure the news director will submit the footage for local emmy consideration and say they were helping the community grieve; but I completely disagree. Pesterting friends and family, and encouraging them to "speak out," is not journalism. Asking the same questions repeatedly to law enforcement officials who have already stated all relevant facts in a transparent effort to get your station over is useless. The first half hour of a "newscast" offering no new information but magnifying grief is disgusting. Throwing Jennifer Waugh out there with no apparent purpose but to babble, garner camera time and cry pious "only a mother like me can understand," tears is insulting and gratutious. These broadcasters do not have the market cornered on heart wrenching reactions; but are merely engaging in a macabre competition of "we feel your pain more than the other stations." They offer no true context, just sensationalism. A special place in hell is reserved for these cynical vampires who profess to be public servants, but only stroke each other while magnifying horror. Just report the facts. Spare us the interviews with the Cliftons and Lunsfords; what are they truly going to add?? Asking the parents if they can forgive the murderer?? Really?? What do you think they are going to say? For the love of all that is decent; I wish you would keep your cameras from the memorial services and stop making a bad situation worse. Tell me when they lock the monster up and skip the artificially generated drama. Guess that would hurt the ratings though....

Then how would you like them to report the story? Ignore it altogether?

Perhaps with a little more dignity, a little less self-pious hand wringing and some actual facts.
