None of you people talking negative about the situation know anything about her. Accidents happen. Would some of you had been more satisfied if the police had not gone looking for her? It's THEIR job, thats 1 of the things that they are paid to do.
Let this be a lesson. You CAN NOT please this world we live in. There is the half of the world that was pleased she was found and is safe, and the other half that believes she had to be found dead for the situation to be acceptable. That's really sad.
AND you people need to get your priorities together. Instead of worrying about how she got away and still has breathe in her body to tell about it, you should be teaching any close knit kids how THEY could get away. PREDATORS ARE LURKING and for those of you who don't take the situation serious, YOU PROBABLY HANG WITH PREDATORS, eat breakfast with predators, sleep with predators. You should really think before you type because a lot of your posts made you look like ignorant people who need drama as a fix to get high.

I'M SOOO GLAD YOU'RE SAFE SWEETHEART. THE WORLD WOULD HAVE BEEN SO DEAD WITHOUT YOU.

DUMBASS, SHE WAS TRYING TO GET THERE FROM A SCHOOL FUNCTION. ONCE AGAIN, A SCHOOL FUNCTION.

The news is wrong she did not have a midnight curfew it was 10:00. The only thing she was in the wrong for is not gasing up at a decent time during the day. The car didn't make it home and some men tried to take advantage of her in a vulnerable situation. Predators are out there people! HELLO!!!!

all I have to say, i'm glad that the young woman came back safely. But if her key's were locked inside her car why didn't she call home or even call anyone for help. For the family,I'm happy for you that she came back home safely.
The DAMN phone was locked in the car as well... Do you people have common sense? She accidently locked her self out of her car that had broken down.... WHY IS SHE A VICTIM OF ALL THIS CRITICISM? SHE DID NOT ASK FOR THIS.

Nice of parents to extend the curfew that the city has in place. Juveniles are not allowed to be out past 11:00 pm on school nights. Hopefully the officers cited her for allowing the child to be out later.
No the officers didn't cite her parents and they are not going to because her curfew was not set at midnight!

Mama whatever she did it was because she felt that she could get away with it, or that the punishment would not be bad enough make it not worth it.
Either way the parents droped the ball.
no one dropped the ball but the men who tried to kidnap her because she made it home safe. It would take movie magic to stage the condition she was in when she was found. Your eyes don't swell from crying unless you've been crying for a long time.... What other reason would she have to cry in a situation like that?

Im glad that the family got here back safely. But what sound's crazy is that, the keys were locked inside her car and a gas can was next to her car. What I don't understand if that did happen to her why didn't she call her family or friends. She could have even called the police,I'm shore they would have helped her. This don't sound right at all. They allways say the truth will set you free.So she need to be honest to everyone and tell the truth.I heard her mom voice on channel 4 news and it made me cry cause I'm a mother and I will feel the same way.All I have to say is that I wish the family best wishes and I will keep you in my prayer. To the young lady.Don't be scared to tell the truth.Just be honest and tell teh truth. They allways say the truth will set you free.(THIS DON'T SOUND TO GOOD,SOMETHINGS SMELL FISHY ABOUT THIS SITUATION)
THE TRUTH IS SHE LOCKED THE DAMN KEYS AND PHONE IN THE DAMN CAR BY ACCIDENT. TELL ME WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE DONE IN THE SITUATION LIKE SO?

Why sneak and do things that you are allowed to do? She is allowed to visit friends. At certain times, true, with certain restrictions, yes, but you guys are taking a lot of credit from this future business woman. She is a person of standard who was in a situation that could've turned for worse but by the grace of god turned for better. This should serve as a lesson instead of punishment from you people.

<quoted text>ok..im sorry about the teri schiavo thing..im in one of my snippy moods today....they might have been waiting up on her..but my main issue is why in the world do they let her stay out so late on a school night anyway?
THE BASE OF YOUR ARGUMENT IS INCORRECT. She has excellent parents who provide for her where SHE doesn't have to want for anything. Stop comparing yourself to other people like you are perfect. I'm a strong believer in Jesus Christ and I know that God made me and you and he doesn't make junk. You are no better than anyone on this site.

YOU ARE A BIGOT and you are set in ways. No one can tell you that you are wrong because bigots are set in their ways and there is no changing them. Whether you are right or wrong you're still going to stand strong behind what you believe just like you are standing strong behind this entire topic that you are sooo wrong about.

If it was bad parenting, her parents would not have been up and awake to know that she had not returned home. If they were bad parents, they would not have cared that she was out pass her curfew WHICH was not set at MIDNIGHT.

so..to the "mother" of this child..give us details..first, why in Gods name do you let your child stay out until midnight on a school night? and where was she? why was her cell phone turned off? why didnt she call you if she wasnt going to make it home for whatever reason?
Why are you so concerned? Where is your daughter? It would take you losing her to understand how we felt.

Come on now. You might be a little more prepared for a situation like this. I might have panicked and tried to make it to the gas station. OR I might've felt that THIS could never happen to me and tried to make it to the gas station. She's young.

No one said the curfew was at midnight. They are taking that issue up with the news. Thank you so much for your concern, but for your information, the news reporter that reported to the scene had the same attitude towards the situation as you do, so from the very beginning we were going to have a negative look because the story was told to make her look bad. That was not fair to that child and you are wrong for forming your OPINION based off false information.

I'm pretty sure, "IN YOUR OPINION" you are doing a wonderful job raising your child but some things happen for a reason and those things sometimes have NOTHING to do with the way the child was raised. It has to do with what the child knows and obviously she knew enough to make it home safe. WE ARE JUST SO HAPPY SHE'S SAFE.

It was reported before daylight Friday and that was only because they spent all freaking night THURSDAY calling round town looking for her. When they found the car they called the police... The news didn't mention that did they? They left out a lot of shit. Like the condition she was in when they found her. There's no way you could pull that off overnight. Sorry

I guess she hadn't reached the point in her "advanced studies" that teaches students that cars with gasoline engines usually need gasoline in the tank. Or maybe she was absent that day.
