this scares me to no end and makes me cringe in sadness for the man and the surviving family and all they will encounter. i can only hope that the two responsible find the most painful death then just before they are declared dead brought back and the death process started over again.

I don't know what he does but I do know it is used to clean the large vats that are used to make beer. Next time you drink a beer make sure yo smell it first. Also when you are in the kitchen and you cut into an onion and your eyes start to water. That's because the onion puts off a gas and mixed with water in your eyes it is making HCL.

I do not drink nor does my family but that is interesting. I also did not realize that about the onions I use that garlic and olive oil on everything. By any chance is it used in soda, cranberry/apple juice, or green tea vats as that is the drinks our family uses. Do you work in the industry or where did you find this out?

I don't drink either nor do I work in any of those industries, but I do watch the Discovery Channel. It was just on the end of last week. I never knew about the onion either.

that sucks i usually watch those programs too as well as history channel, food network, comedy channel anything but local crime or news or booty/chick flix. i watched one the other day and even did some searching about jax used to run a subway system and to this day the walls are still in great condition with the tiles, lights, posters still on the walls the only thing wrong with them is draining some water and removing dirt and boulders that are blocking the entrances around town.

I know we have changed the subject here, oh well. Jacksonville does have alot of great history but I never knew about the subway, I wonder if they sold sandwiches :). That's interesting but I can't believe it lasted very long, because subways and hurricanes don't mix. The area near the Landing use to be Sear's and I saw pictures of that area flooded because of the storm surge duing the hurricane in 1964.

In general, Jax seems to have a charmed life. I was stationed there when Hurricane David missed by about 75 miles. Places to the south & north get clobbered, but most storms just can't seem to make a tight enough turn to Port. People said David was as close as Jax had come in more than 20 years then. So a subway seems a little strange but in Jax it might pay for itself between flushes.

Pity we can't flush murderers like that one. Criminal-lovers whine that the death penalty never brought a murder victim back. When did letting murderers LIVE--start bringing their victims back? Did I miss that memo, or did it never happen? RKBA! Best regards.

Yea our family did have 6 generations here 5 of which spent time in the same house. I can remember when most of the land around here was a natural not developed and people were happy with each other. Heck when I was a kid even up to 5th grade on occasion we would close ends of the street and have a neighborhood cookout where everybody would bring something even if just ice from the refrigerator now people cannot stand to be in the same room with each other or even know where the other belongs or came from. I agree with you if you do wrong such as (murder, rape, molest) the crank old sparky and let the death party begin. Most countries have a policy such as you steal or caught stealing you loose a finger next time a hand next a foot sooner or later you have no way to steal. Perhaps we could try a similar policy for rape, molest, and pedophile (casterate if male or staple shut if female) and if you murdered someone you will get hung or your head held to the gilliten “I am not sure of the spelling”.
