Has anyone seen how this is being worked on?

This road is torn up from Roosevelt to Huron and you might see a few guys working on one end today, maybe a few on the other tomorrow, or no one working at all.

No wonder its takes forever to fix something.

Those 3 hurt those businesses before construction ever started.

I was just wondering, Why not do this in sections instead of tearing up the entire roadway at once? Finish Roosevelt to I-10, then I-10 to Beaver, ect..

Don't even get me started about Cahoon and I10. They cut four lanes down to two even though no work has been done in the two lanes they closed for the last six months. Traffic has been a daily nightmare there and the only other option is to drive several miles down to Lane Ave. to then drive several miles back to where you want to go. Its typical government contracts. Its how these businesses meet their payrolls by dragging these jobs out and taking as long as possible to get every penny from the taxpayers they can.

Now when you think about government run health care think about road construction, the post office, public schools, and just about any other government entity. I say fix the problems in government first then worry about how government might be able to help.

They would never get finished doing it that way.

The first section would be full of pot holes before they finished the last section. So they would have to go back to the first section again. Over and over.

Do you not remember The 9-a fiasco.

They will be doing that anyway.
After it does get finished, it wont be six months they will be back in there digging up water leaks or something.

Or they could just build it right the first time. I kills me to have a less than 20 year old Rd dug up and widened. Isn't that what we have "city planners" for? Aren't they supposed to project growth? I think they do it to keep money flowing around each other....Chafee Rd and Argyle Forest are good examples of waste.
