how safe do you think drivers would get if they had to pay minimum wage value to everyone inconvienced with an accident caused by a commercial driver? that means everyone in the traffice jam caused by the accident

How do you know the driver wasn't having a heart attack or in diabetic shock? Why do you always assume that he/she was being unsafe?

These tractor trailers are a menace on the roads! How many times do you ever see one of them pulled over by the cops for speeding at 85 mph? Not too often! Too bad we can't go back to the railroads!

We are going back to railroads! A good percentage of freight is being shipped by rail and this is increasing.

the morning call doesnt freaking know wat was going on. there were 55 gallon drums and a couple 500 gallon drums of paint, they made it sound soo small. i spend most of my night there waiting for the paint to go off

There are plenty of intermodal places, there's really no reason to drive a truck more than 40 miles around here, we have enough freight rail. It's a shame that the government decided to unfairly subsidize the trucking industry, but the railroad tycoons had their day too.
