Oct. 23, 2009 6:40 a.m. Among the potential cost-cutting changes suggested by at least one member of the Village Board was the elimination of the Germantown Police Department by replacing it with a Washington County Sheriff's Department contract.

Germantown, WI

Germantown should keep local law enforcemebt. It is imperitive that the local men and women police their own. Not the county! I'm sure you can find other ways to cut the budget.
