Now wait a minute in post 1643 the poster made that comment and since you did not take objection to it i assumed you guys were on the same side and agree with it.

Maybe a trip to Jerusalem or your computer can help guide you in the truths of the bible's accuracies.
You profess the knowledge by starting this thread. Show me the truth. Show me your evidence for who wrote the bible. Show me you evidence for the involvement of a god. Show me your "ample proof."
I do think that if your god had the ability to create us all he would also have the ability to let us know what he wants us to know. The problem is he hasn't done so. One old book out of billions written. Full of errors, mistranslations by the illiterate and slaves, adjusted by those with axes to grind and censored by those who selected their favorite stories and miscopied many times. Is that the best method of transmitting the will of a super being or is it a fairy story invented by bronze age peasants? Use Occam's Razor and come up with the correct answer.

And I can't help that he too hasn't learned of this knowledge. Science isn't about pointing fingers. But I can assure you and the other atheist, we share at least 75 percent identical DNA with every other mammal on earth. We all came from a common ancestor millions of years before the old testament.

I've already posted that the best book (and there are thousands) on Evolution is Jerry Coyne's "Why Evolution is True." It is not a difficult book - any high school student should be able to manage it. It does contain all the information you seek. It is unfair to ask people to detail DNA results and information on evolution when it takes a whole book to explain it properly. If you wish to learn then you must read. Don't depend on the odd sentence from others. I understand that evolution was not taught in Tennessee before the mid 60s and even today I understand it is avoided wherever possible. I guess few Tennesseans have read "On the Origin of Species. Nevertheless, the onus is now on you to learn. If you do not, you are not in a position to comment, and quite frankly, people will laugh at your ignorance which becomes plain when you claim humans are descended from monkeys or apes.
If you wish to learn more about how every living species on the planet is related and how old the common ancestor between humans and carrots is, you should read "The Ancestor's Tale" by Dawkins. This is a thick book and I would not recommend it until you have read Jerry Coyne, but once your interest is sparked you may well wish to continue. I hope you read and then defeat my arguments from a position of knowledge.

I'm aware of the scientific knowledge. I'm also aware of natural selection of which I was waiting for you to explain to AC man.
I've done this debate several times over and it gets tiring to explain everything to a religious person when they have the Internet and access to all the information we do. It's pure laziness on their part and tiring on mine.

One last statement before I go.
The bible doesn't explain how we came to be by any means.
How did god create us ? Magic
How did he create the universe ? Magic
How did he create woman from a rib? Magic
How did he create animal? Magic

Magic is not an explanation of anything.

There is no such animal as an anti christ. I will give your posts the respect they deserve when you have read Mein Kampf and viewed Hitler's speeches. There is no question that he was a Roman Catholic in bed with the Vatican. The only ones to disagree would be ignorant Pastors who know nothing of evolution or history and feed rubbish to the gullible.

Yea, if Hitler was the anti-Christ he was not a very good one as he failed entirely to fulfill the ANTI part of being the anti-Christ.
There you go again, both of you. The words you use from hitlers book were very early in his career and he was speaking to christians in an effort to win their support. the german people were suffering miserably due to the unfairness of the treaty of versailles.

i doubt very seriosly if the vatican would be willing to go on record as saying hitler practiced the christian philosophy.

he was the anti chrst who used the christain philosophy to bring his evil into our world. he was defeated just as many other anti christs have also been defeated,in much the same way that the modern day anti christ-being you- will also pass.

we have faced and defeated many. where is it written there will be only one? This thread has dozens.
