The Supreme Court has done a great thing today! I am one step closer to having marriage equality and will be able to soon marry my 9-year old partner! Equality for all!

Chester, I'm very happy for you, unfortunately there will be those who choose to not share in your happiness. Good luck!

I see what you did there. You're inferring that since two men or women can now have their marriage recognized (in some states), that your pedophelic relationship with a 9 year-old should also be recognized. You're kind of clever, except for that you aren't at all. That's apples and oranges, no matter what your Pastor told you to think.

I'm not for it Bible says a man and a woman.G
God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Chester.
Woman is to be loved by a man and have babies raise them to get married to the other sex.
Now you male female queers WELL no need to go into it.
Come on my Guest or Jenn help me out here.

I'm all for it. Because Marriage Equality means by law that my wife has to let me give it to her in the poop shute and she must perform oral on me.

Bible also has these as well received in the eyes of god kind of marrages:

polygamous marriages in the Bible.
Lamech had two wives - Genesis 4:19.
Esau had three wives - Genesis 26:34 & 28:9.
Jacob had four wives - Genesis 29:28 & 30:4-9.
Gideon had many wives - Judges 8:30.
Abijah had 14 wives - II Chronicles 13:21.

Levirate Marriage: if a man died without having children, his brother was expected to marry his widow and produce children to continue the lineage of the deceased brother, Deuteronomy 25:5-10.

Mixed marriage. Abraham and Sarah conspired to cause their slave girl Hagar to marry Abraham and produce children.

Prisoner of war marriage, between Israelite warriors and Midianite virgins - Numbers 31:1-18. At Godís instruction, the Israelite Army killed all the men and boys of Midian and all the Midianite women who were not virgins. The Israelite warriors then married the surviving virgins, Numbers 31:18.

Slave marriage. This is different from a normal marriage in that a male slave had no right to keep his wife and children, if his master sold him or them, Exodus 21:1-6.

Same sex marriage. The partnership of Jonathan and David is an example of same sex marriage in the Bible. Jonathanís father referred to David as his son in law in I Samuel 18:21.
King Saul refers to their relationship with a vulgar Hebrew idiomatic expression indicating Jonathan and David were sexually intimate, I Samuel 20:30.

Some other information that there once was gay marriage in the church:
A Kiev art museum contains a curious icon from St. Catherine's monastery on Mt. Sinai.
It shows two robed Christian saints. Between them is a traditional Roman pronubus (best man) overseeing what in a standard Roman icon would be the wedding of a husband and wife. In the icon, Christ is the pronubus. Only one thing is unusual. The husband and wife are in fact two men. And they were St. Serge and St. Bacchus, a partnered gay couple.

I think that people tend to twist the biblicle terms to make them.fit a gay marriage situation, or maybe they never thought that the gay men didn't receive any favor from God. Homosexuality is an abomination and serves no purpose. I stand by the Bible in that gay marriage is wrong. The fact that the US is getting so comfortable with gay marriage
Proves that we are becoming a Godless nation which is why we are quickly going to hell in a hand basket.

How does this affect you in the least? Why should your beliefs be inflicted upon others who don't share them? Two gay people getting married has zero impact on you. It is between them and whatever they personally believe. I am sure that you are equally appalled by premarital sex which the bible also prohibits. Not to mention your posts about interracial relationships which were also once illegal until rational people stood up to bigotry such as this.

Well I see a lot of haters here. How is an adult marrying a 9-year old threatening your marriage? As long as 2 or 3 people love each other, why can't they get married and claim that on their taxes?
Oh, I see. Your dilemma isn't a moral one, it's economic. Tsk, tsk. Silly Republican. All you care about is your money. Fulfilling, huh?

He didn't. His first post was a tongue-in-cheek comment about other people's morality, then the second was about non-traditional families' payment of federal taxes. Seems a fairly easy conclusion to draw. If my assumption turned out to be incorrect, I would be surprised.

And guess what? I just made assumptions about you based on your name-calling and obvious lack of perception of subtlety :)

But it doesn't matter. I believe in living and letting live. So...off you go, now.
