My biggest issue isn't even about the police on the street as much as the jail. Cjc is discusting! Jail or not human beings shouldn't be sitting in pods where toxic black mold is growing everywhere and the guards who half ass pay attention. What about the man who killed himself after he was suppose to be on suicide watch but was placed in a normal cell with no one watching, that is the police fault. And what about the guy that died of an anurism because after he complained for at least 5 hours about a pain in his leg he had been complaining since lunch and they didn't take him to the hospital until midnight. They are responsible for these people. I don't care how much trouble has caused if they have an issue it is suppose to be taken care of, these people were the victims of gross negligence at cjc. There needs to be some carefull examination done there because these things are completely unacceptable.

If we jumped right up and took every inmate to the hospital when they "hurt," the state would be bankrupt. We don't simply have the manpower because of the waffletwats who think that it's okay to cut below bare minimums.

Further, it doesn't matter if these people are on suicide watch or not. No one can physically keep constant eyes on inmates at all times in those cases. It goes back to manpower. Additionally, how can anyone blame the actions of one onto others? He would have killed himself at any given chance, even after coming off suicide watch.

You're asserting too many things in which you are clueless about. Too much television, perhaps.

You MF's violate the law every week. You probably cover for your thug buddies when they knowingly violate peoples rights and vice versa when you do.

You MF's don't deserve ANY respect!!!!!

Go plant some evidence on someone or hit them once they are cuffed you piece of shit!
trueblue wrote:
I am associated with them, Proudly!!! And I know ever violators you are talking about. I also know the way the local media depicts us. There about 300 officers and deputies between the SO and the PD. There might have been 2 CRIMINAL violations committed by a deputy or officer over this last calendar year. That is less than 1%!! Compare that to anywhere else. The rest would be disciplinary actions based on a violation of some sort of policy or procedure. Officers at the PD can't have an arrest record, if they do they don't get hired. If they get arrested they get terminated as was evident a few years ago with Brooks and Dreblow. True some of the discplinary actions taken recently I feel should have resulted in termination but that's not my decision to make. The ones committing crimes are getting caught doing so, the rest are catching all the flack from blowhards. But I will continue to do my job everyday without fail even for douche bags like you when you call

Here you go dumbass----another THUG JPD PIG you prolly protected by turning the other way.

A Jackson police officer has been suspended without pay after a Madison County grand jury indicted him this week.

Officer Robbie Weems is being investigated after being accused of alleged misconduct on a traffic stop last year.

In late October, the Jackson Police Department Professional Standards and Integrity Unit became aware of the accusations. The investigation was based on an allegation of missing currency possessed by an occupant of a vehicle stopped by officers for a traffic violation, according to a news release from the police department.

Because the allegation involved criminal conduct, the Professional Standards and Integrity Unit notified the JPD Criminal Investigation Division.

Investigators learned that shortly after 3 a.m. on Oct. 21, Weems assisted other officers on a traffic stop in the parking lot of Old Hickory Mall. The driver was pulled over for driving with no head lights, according to the report.

Marvin Morales, of Bolivar, was a passenger. Weems conducted a pat down of Morales, 20, and removed $200 from the passenger's pocket. The driver was issued a citation for driving while unlicensed. No further action was taken against the driver or Morales, according to the report.

This case was presented to the Madison County grand jury on Wednesday. Weems, 51, is charged with theft and official misconduct, according to Jackson police.

He surrendered at the department's Criminal Investigation Division Annex this morning and was booked at the Madison County Jail. He was released on $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to be formally arraigned in Madison County Circuit Court,

Division III on Monday, Feb. 4.

Weems has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the internal

investigation and court case. Weems has been an officer with the Jackson Police Department since June 1993. He is assigned to the Patrol Division.

If they are on suicide watch they shouldn't be provided anything they can kill themselves with such as a blanket and I'm sure those ppl in their boxes with all thee survelence screens up are being paid to watch them. And I am not stupid enough to think people dnt fake pain or injury to get out and go to the hospital but waiting over 12 hours when they are continuously complaining is cruel and unusual punishment. If the state can't afford to supply the ppl in jail no matter the crime with basic needs and a ride to the hospital even if their issue can't be seen by the naked eye then they need to get their priorities strait. I don't care what these ppl have done they are still human. If the jail can't preform a proper suicide watch or take a inmate (now dead due to an anurism because he wasn't taken to the hospital in time) to the hospital to be checked out as at least a precaution then the cjc need to be shut down until they can provide proper care.

Did you know that you can make a knife (and a sharp one at that) with newspaper?

You have to give them paper gowns; otherwise, you're being "inhumane."

Circular argument. There are too many variables involved, many of which are unknown to you, to declare such asinine assertions.

It doesn't simply work like that.

It goes back to the "Oh my leg hurts, boss!"

Medical staff are always on duty to make those decisions. It isn't up to officers. If THEY decide not to send them, then we don't. Period.

...And you think I was only talking about one specific jail regarding your inaccurate "assertions." Hilarious.

#1 they get a padded green velcroe suit not a paper gown.
#2 a nurse can't see an anurism and they all know they should have taken that man to the hospital even the coroner said it was negligent of them not to.
#3 they have nurses not doctors and no equipment. There a thousands of medical problems that can occur that a bodily exam won't identify. If they can't determine an issue and the person is clearly in pain they are just suppose to let them sit there because they can't see it with their own eyes. How would you feel if it was your spouse or child.
On suicide watch the inmate is suppose to be watched 24\7 if cjc can't provide that they shouldn't be allowed to house inmates. If they would have watched this man accordingly it would have never happened.
Not to mention all the filthy dangerous black mold growing there.
What are you going to say next, they can't afford cleaning supplies either.

Again, circular argument. Are you medically stupid? That's a serious question.

"My leg hurts!" ... Oh Sherlock! There must be a blood clot mista'!

Actually, they do have doctors. Mooting your entire "argument."

Really? Are you really this naive? Impossible to surveillance someone 24/7. This goes back to the manpower issue.

Can you not comprehend this?

Actually, I'm not going to say anything. I'm laughing at your stupidity.
