Thank you

The postcards said:

"David and I are having a great time. Last year our trip to Seattle was good but this is awesome. He told me he was divorcing you Last year, but he didn't. Now he says he is again. I really Love him and all he does for me. Maybe this will help you make up his mind. Sorry it has to be this way".
Lisa Balderrama

A renowned handwriting expert witness, Michael Robertson from Canton, Ohio identified the handwriting on the postcards matched writing samples taken from Butch Mitchell. Robertson also concluded that Deputy Balderrama did not write the postcards or send them to Mrs. Woolfork or to Sergeant Murphy.

As far as the accusations, there was never any proof that Deputy Balderrama traveled to Louisville with the sheriff as part of an ongoing extramarital affair as the postcards suggested or they had an inappropriate relationship.

The sheriff had no direct involvement in the investigation. The Court of Appeals made a bad descison that cost the taxpayer's $500,000. This is old news and has no bearing on the current election.

I always wondered if Woolfork didn't send the post cards himself so he could fire Chief Mitchell. Butch knew too much and was a threat. It would have worked if the courts hadn't ruled for Butch.

So Mitchell got the $500,000? Where is he now?

Mike Robertson was not a handwriting expert. Not even close. He was Paar 's buddy from Ohio. He was paid to say what they wanted. Butch's was the only sample he looked at. He got his credentials online.

Chief Mitchell was on duty at the CJC in Jackson the day the postcards were sent from Louisville. And Butch didn't have any friends in Louisville. Plus Butch did not have access to personnel files for over 1 year. Whoever sent the postcards did.

I was not there and can't say what happened but the sheriff taking overnight trips with female deputies is inappropriate.

It was the right decision to give Butch his job back and pay him over $500,000. No telling how much Woolfork's sexual harassment claim will cost us.

Get your facts straight.

The Madison County commission paid William "Butch" Mitchell $513,242 from local purpose tax money. They did not have enough votes to hold the sheriff's office responsible and make them pay their share of the settlement money.

As a local taxpayer, I want to know why we have such an outdated and useless elected office such as the position of Constable. People like Frankie Laxx do nothing but embarrass this fine county.

To who posted what the post card said, not trying to say this in a negative way I could care either way except for the fact was made that "balderrama" on the post card was spelled with one r and it in fact has two r's. Which from what I remember was one of the many keys for the fact she didn't send it. Just saying....

EEOC will be saying hmmmm alright. The right to sue will be granted by the Federal agency. BET

TN is a right-to-work state. Mitchell convinced courts he was "wrongly fired" and the $500 thousand was his back pay. IF a civil suit causes a settlement over sexual harassment, the county's liability insurance will probably pay. There are limits of about $350 thousand max of liability for city, county & state government. The EEOC will investigate, but if they do not find proof of harassment by "Definition of what constitutes harassment" then they will not give a "right to sue letter". That letter carries a lot of weight in a legal proceeding. I still have some problematic questions about the long-term of the affairs, such 2 yrs long??? The post card deal happens a few months right before an election campaign and now the latest incident happens right before an election campaign. Way too odd. Baby Lax was all in the post card thing too. Make you want say hmmm? Yet?? Sangers' Constable Lake lives on her street, but she called one that lives way out Hwy 70, almost at county line. May you want to say Hmmm? Now???

So who don't have the proof Sangster or Lisa. I think Sangster have all the proof she needs. Others were waiting for the door to open. Itself open now and their running out for their lives. Thanks to Whorefork.
