Wrong ! The President can in fact have everything to do with it. The current occupant has issued thousands of expensive regulations, forced through an unwanted healthcare bill requiring new taxes on all businesses as well as reams of paperwork. This is just to name a couple of items I could go on and on. Obama Care will create 157 new Goverment agencies when fully implimented. All Government costs money and it's paid for through taxes which is wealth taken from the private sector. Every Dollar that flows to Washington is one Dollar less flowing in the local economy.

In short your statement is PURE RUBBISH !

My daughter is having the same problem. She has her Bachelors Degree in Applied Science with Business Management and Administration. She is having to live in Nashville, but not working in a job that her degree is in. She will start on her Master Degree next month. She is also going to get into Counseling, for an extra job.
Why will the companies not give someone a chance? Most of her career has been in Security. She is wanting out of that field.
She has tried to get on at the hospitals, with no luck. If, someone can help her, let me know.

I understand what you mean. I moved to Jackson, TN 4 months ago. I hold three degrees and the highest is a Masters in Education. I have been a seasoned educator for 16 years, I have been on eight interviews, one employer literally told me I had the job and later on sent me a letter stating they selected a more qualified candidate. WOW! I have took the time to write the public officials in this town (I need to say no more about that)! I feel your pain to the up-most, something has to be done about this and quick. I feel no one who has reached their highest potential should not have employment issues such as this. I have been told during a Jackson, TN interview that I am over qualified and we only hire people we know (oh boy was that confirmation!) It is ok because I got my education and that is one thing no one can take away from me. I just think it is so sad that we tell our children to go to school so they can get a great job and they see results such as this. Blessing to you during your employment search in Jackson, TN.
