Will Homosexuals Be Allowed in Heaven

When you fall in to your eternal sleep, I hope there is some enlightening moment when you figure out all this time you spent on Earth pursuing religious fairytales meant nothing to no one ever throughout history. You people and your beliefs will one day be a point in the history of this world people glance back at and cringe. Your close-minded, hypocritical backwards thinking is a cancer on this vessel we call a planet. I am moral without the bounds of your 2,000 year old boyfriend. I hope soon our nation will awaken from the darkness of bigotry and uneducated theologies. Free your mind from the prison that you were born into. This world and the universe we're floating through is so much more beautiful than a god with the temper of a 4 year old could ever imagine.

Wake up. Let go of the god Delusion.

Will there be divorced people in heaven?

Will there be self-righteous people in heaven?

Will there be people who do not control their actions such as their tongue? eating?

Will speeders be in heaven?

Will the 700 wives of Solomon be in heaven?

Why is it hard to not believe that gay people will not be in heaven?

Know what the difference is between
a homosexual and a refrigerator?

The refrigerator doesn't fart when you pull the meat out.

I'll tell you why it is hard not to believe that gay people will not be in heaven - there is no evidence for the existence of a heaven.
No heaven = no gays, no humans, no dogs. Enjoy the life you have - there is nothing to hope for.

What is it like in heaven? I only know one source and that is the Apocalypse Of Peter which was taken out of the bible you read.
It describes heaven as well as hell. Are you aware of it? Why is it no longer in your bible?

talk about bring in up an old post. But since it is now up front might as well add in some facts:

Biblical scholars have stated that the exact terms and phrases used in the original biblical text have nothing to do with homosexuality. The text is against underage sex and shrine prostitution and NEVER refers to a faithful, committed, non-cultic partnership between two men or two women.

arsenokoites: shrine prostitution. Arsenokoites and arsenokoitai were never a reference to homosexuals nor were they ever used to refer to lesbians

malakoi: referred to intellectual weakness or moral weakness or some kind of softness which implied effeminacy

Josephus, AD 37-100, used malakos to describe men who appeared soft or weak through lack of courage in battle or who were reluctant to commit suicide in defeat or who enjoyed too much luxury.

The writers of the bible did have many terms to use to refer to homosexuality, yet did not use a single one of them in the biblical text:

arrenomanes - meaning mad after men or boy crazy

dihetaristriai - a synonym referencing lesbian sexuality, meaning essentially the same thing as hetairistriai, tribad, tribades, from: Love Between Women: Early Christian Responses to Female Homoeroticism, Brooton, Bernadette, p. 23.

erastes - a sometimes older man who loves a sometimes younger male

eromenos - a sometimes younger male who loves an older male

euryproktoi – men who dress as women, also a vulgar reference to anal penetration

frictrix - Latin word referring to a lewd woman and sometimes used to refer to a lesbian. Tertullian, 160-220 AD, translated tribas (a masculine woman) as frictrix.

hetairistriai - women who are attracted to other women, used by Plato’s character Aristophanes, in The Symposium. May also refer to hyper-masculine women, from Lucian’s Dialogue of the Courtesans, cited by Brooten, p. 52.

kinaidos – a word for effeminate, or kínaidoi (cinaedus in its Latinized form), a man "whose most salient feature was a supposedly feminine love of being sexually penetrated by other men." Winkler, John J., 1990, The Constraints of Desire: The Anthropology of Sex and Gender in Ancient Greece, New York: Routledge.

Although some scholars, like Dr. Robert Gagnon, understand kinaidoi to mean the passive partner in a male couple, Davidson argues that kinaidoi refers to a man insatiable and unrestrained in his sexual appetites instead of merely effeminate or passive. Davidson, J. 1997. Courtesans & Fishcakes: The Consuming Passions of Classical Athens, New York, p. 167-182.

lakkoproktoi - a lewd and vulgar reference to anal penetration

lesbiai - a synonym referencing lesbian sexuality, meaning essentially the same thing as dihetaristriai, hetairistriai, tribad, tribades, from: Love Between Women: Early Christian Responses to Female Homoeroticism, Brooton, Bernadette, p. 23.

paiderasste – sexual behavior between males

paiderastes or paiderastďs - derived from the Greek word pais, a boy, meaning lover of boys

paidomanes - a male mad for boys or boy crazy

paidophthoros - a Greek word meaning corrupter of boys

pathikos – the passive penetrated partner in a male couple

tribades - an ancient Latin word indicating the active female partner of a lesbian pair, sometimes interpreted to mean a pseudo-male, referencing genital contact between women. Rashi defines it as “rubbing in a sexual manner.”

tribas - the active partner in a lesbian relationship, who takes the male role

Auntie, nobody knows absolutely but even if I die and never find myself somewhere else or better, while in this life, the "faith" of another phase is a comfort, especially in moments of grief, pain, etc...
Faith in God, gives many a meaning and purpose to our human lives.
During stressful, emotionally painful moments... what gives your some comfort? medications, booze or other substances? Most all of us are not strong 100% during the course of our lives on this earth. Even the faith in all this unknown does give some comfort and the biggie, HOPE. All need Hope every day.
I am glad to read the you admit there is no absolute. I open the door to a god but the chances of a god are less than me winning the lottery every week for the next year.
I am also glad that you understand that your imaginary friend gives you comfort and that you feel too weak to get through life without it. I do not suffer from that weakness - I need no support from fantasy (or booze and drugs.) I do not need hope. I accept the one and only life and enjoy it. The best thing I can do in this life, which gives me pleasure, is to try to eradicate harmful religions from the planet and thus leave a better world for those that follow.

<quoted text> One of the rules of science is , There are no absolutes. In my life, a few older theories have been proven after new discovery to be wrong or altered. What if what we call God is in fact a super race or beings that created us, but some that see what we call alien craft, are really our creators checking on us from our mother planet. Whatever our Creator is, might not look like us or might. Just putting out what ifs. Organized Corporate Religious group often do turn off many. Believing something is good in many ways. Conformity to rituals is not too cool for me either.

Seriously? This stream of BS is so back-woods that even Jackson should be ashamed of the posts. Religion? Religion? Now that is a choice, people choose all the time as to what religion they want to hide behind or which church they want to get lost in. Black or White? Gay or Straight? Green Eyes or Brown Eyes? No, these are not choices, they just are!!! Your posts are tired and while it can be somewhat entertaining to read from people who are grasping at straws, it's as old as most of the religions you pretend to subscribe to. Homosexuality is not a state of mind or a temporary phase, nor is it a choice or anti-religious attack. The really sad and tragic part of this discussion and anti-gay, religiously-justified, uneducated spatter that you all keep putting out there is that most of you are only religious when you think it counts. Hopefully, if you have children, they will evolve as they grow rather than pin up so much anger that they mirror your ignorance. Today, yeah today, you believe in your God and you would have your friends, family and church believe that you are 'heaven-worthy'- aren't you? Religion is and should be more of a question than someone's orientation as many people die in the name of religion. Never once have I heard of mass-killings and the taking over of territories or countries in the name of being "Gay". How about jumping on the internet, educating yourself a little, let go of your religiously justified hate and realize that more people than you, with your tiny little minds could ever imagine are GAY! And to note, I would bet MY orientation that some of THOSE homosexuals are in your family or in your circle of friends! Forget closets you idiots, we are coming out of the woodwork!!!!

I don't understand all this debate. I had my first gay sex encounter last week and it was great. better than a woman any day cause guys know what guys want. the only problem occurred when I pulled out and had a butter bean on my pecker.
