chickasaw state park is also a beautiful place to get married. especially in the fall. they have a great cedar and stone lodge(looks like a chapel) with a stone veranda that overlooks the pond. a great place to take pics too.

please let us know what venue you choose. good luck!

Aeneas is a pretty building inside and out.....there is a really pretty courtyard outside too. If you are having a small wedding you could have the ceremony outside and the reception inside. The building is in immaculate condition and always well kept. I loved the original hardwood floors and old historic brick walls. Go to www.aeneasbuilding.com to see photos.

Do not use crown winery. I used them and the woman is hateful. They will tell you the reception will have air on then they don't turn it on. They say it can't cool enough. Not good at all. Your flowers and your guest will wilt.

Chickasaw state park is very nice. I want up say 150 to $200 to rent it but not sure. When decorated it is beautiful inside.

aeneas is $1375 but is beautiful... the changing area could be better but over all is a good place. so far my #1. the woman at tulip tree is a b****. she tried to stop my cousins sons from being in the wedding as well as the 2 flower girls. the wedding cake was wrong, and so were the decorations. also, the outside was nasty and the pond was green.

Well I need all the help I can get, and I really appreciate it. I'll check those 2 out, any others. I'll even take ideas in Memphis I guess, but rather stay close. Just really want it outside, God willing and the creeks don't rise!
