The Bar that used to be Lucky's

When it was Lucky's it sucked. I went there tonight specifically to hear a band who played oldies. They were better than anything I'd heard there before. After the first set the band was asked to leave. There was a party set up at another bar and they left to get the people to come to hear this band but was told they couldn't move tables and bring these people in. We all left. That's stupid. You get a good clientele and run them off for the gang bangers. So I'm asking for everyone to boycott this bar!!!' Thanks !!

There where a lot of people leaving because of the band. It wasn't just the songs they were playing IMHO but they quality of their playing. No I could not do better but I wouldn't stick around to see myself play either.

Yes. There was a group of about 20 who wanted to come hear the band. It was someone's birthday. The security guard told them they couldn't come in and had asked the band to leave. Just out of curiosity I went back about 12:30. There was only about 15 there and they were young. So they lost lots of money that night. The group they turned away are all people who tip really well. It's their loss.

The band did ok though. They have 3 shows from people who caught them before they left.
