You are only replacing one drug with another. Just stop. That will be harder to get off than the opiates.

i understand where u r coming from but its not that easy..addiction is a chronic brain diseas..and if anyone wants help to get off opiates then by all means help them..although you may still be dependant on suboxone the withdrawels are not nearly as bad and you want have people getting robbed or doctorshopping for suboxone..nor is it as bad as taking thousands of milligrams of tylenol a week..which is what u take if your jacked up on hydros or percs

You have no clue!! I've seen people pain pills.. Not that easy!! If these doctors would stop giving them for just anything there wouldn't be a problem!! A doc in jackson will give them for just about anything!! I caught her giving them to him for the stupidest things!!

I have been clean for more than 3 years. I used to shoot dope and then got on suboxone. Suboxone with drawls are just as bad. The best thing to do is check yourself into a rehabilitation center. Detox and don't take anything when you leave. If suboxone is used properly as in used at a detox center. They put you on it and wean you off of it in 4 days to make your withdrawals bearable. But getting from a doctor doesn't help, what happens is you do become addicted to the suboxone if you stay on it too long.

ANYWAY it'd be super cool if people gave serious advice and didn't screw around.

Thanks. Good luck.

Could anyone who has actually seen Dr. Warren tell me what he's like as a Suboxone doctor? Does he try to taper you off quickly or does he let you set the pace?

He has a pretty rigid timeline... no give whatsoever. He tells you how it's going to be and if you don't like it, tough shit. The patient has no input whatsoever with him. I don't like him.

He has a one year program. 1st 6 months is full dose then you step down each month.

Speaking from experience with him and opiate use. I wouldn't go to him I was there almost a year. He doesn't monitor you close enough. Take a test get your subs and out the door you go. It's just swapping one habit for another. Get free from it all because I promise the withdrawal from subs are far worse than regular opiates esp when you've been on them a few months. Don't judge my comments with negativity because I am now clean 100% for over a year now and am only speaking from experience. Good luck with your future. Best of luck
