Lol I dunno what lollipop is talking about but oooookkkkk.... haha yup rumors are true. THE AMAZING MATT BROWN is now full time with INK INDUSTRIES. We are very glad to have him. He still owns his own traveling tattoo company that goes to bike ralleys and concerts and a bunch of stuff. But his new home is at ink industries. I'm excited to learn more from him and take my level up above the rest. So everyone come see the best shop around and talk to me and Matt brown. ok so if you go to a tattoo shop and cant get a tattoo that same day what does that mean? to me it means they are good. if i can walk into a shop and i have artist begging me to sit in a chair asap its probably because they have no business. i say all this because i read all the post on here trying to figure out which shop to go to, and actually visted all of them. well i was the most impressed by ink industries. i wont post all of my thoughts on the others but i ended up putting a deposit down and making a appointment next week on my tattoo. Matt Brown is going to be my artist and by the look of his artwork i cant go wrong! so i will post my thoughts after my tattoo next week!

The amazing Matt Brown, ha ha, thats funny. He has ran at least 3 of his own shops in the ground being an idiot, ridiculing other artist while charging ridiculous prices on his substandard tattooing. Give him some time and he will destory your shop too.

That would be your personal opinion. He is a great artist and you need to know the whole story on why a business closes before talking bad about someone. But its cool Charles speak without knowing and alot gets turned around. And the average price of a tat in west tn is 100 per hour. Size and placement is also a factor. But u can get a cheap tattoo anywhere but true works of art take time and skill. And if its going under my skin and I have it till I die I will pay for good work. Sry Charles its my personal opinion to disagree with you

It's not a personal opinion, it's the stone cold truth. At 50 cents a needle, 75 cents from a disposible tube, 25 cents per color, 10 cents for gloves. $5 bucks total cost at best for any tattoo being done anywhere in West Tn working from a stencil, and ya got the nerve to call yourself an artist.

Ok so u wanna be a smart ass get ur money configurations right. And if that's all u use to tattoo ur not artist. And the way ur talking makes it sound like u have done a couple. Try paying for $2500 autoclave about 130 tubes at 8.40 each. A two oz bottle of ink 34 bucks and got 67 of them. Think of the $5000 copier. Ultra sonics two of them at 400 each. Thermafax at 1200 Buck. Lapdrops. Razors. Paper for thermafax. Cleaning supplies. Chemicals to run in ultrasonic at 30 per gallon. Sterile packs for tubes. Gloves at 10 Buck a box and we buy cases at a time. How bout paying the people to come get our dirty needles a hundred bucks a month BC its the law for them to come get them. How bout the few grand a month rent and utility bill for a good studio. How bout 25.00 per box of needles and having to buy 10 boxes a time. How bout the computer programs that we have to have that run over a grand to buy. How bout the sanitary wipes we have to use to wipe everything down to make sure our customers are in a clean place after everytattoo that are 11 Buck for alil tube. How bout paying thousands on advertising. How bout 4-500 bucks per machine we have to use. And hundreds on power supplies. Figure that out and if u have anything else to say why don't u come down to ink industries so I can show u around the building so u know how much it cost to be the best and cleanest place around. Ask for me ron

I am not a tattoo artist, don't want to be one. If you want to blow smoke up the a$$ of your customers telling them all that crap, go right ahead. People have computers and it's easy to figure out the cost you are out for each tattoo, and it's nothing like you explain. A few grand a month for rent. Are you stupid or what?

If u knew about ink industries u would know we allow the public to come to our studio and walk around to see how we go the extra mile to make it clean and safe and rent afew grand a month u heard right. We are located on carriage house. And I guess ur looking at ur pricing on eBay. Sry we don't buy our stuff from eBay. We are the real deal and get professional equipment. We have alot of clients that have walked through our shop and know that we go the extra mile to take care of them. But its cool not every person is going to come to us its fine its a personal opinion. If u want to go somewhere with spray paint all over the walls or someone's garage feel free. But don't down the guys that do everything they can to be top notch. If u are reading this and are thinking of getting a tattoo go check everyone out. Look at portfolios check out their shop. Ask to look around. If they really care they will show u what u wanna know.and pricing we work with any budget. But we don't knock things out. Some cases we have to take time to draw out. I'm not trying to offend you Charles I just want u to realize what ur talking about before you start downing my place of business.

Ron, I have been inside your shop. I have been inside every shop in Jackson and they all scored 100% on health dept inspections, so your shop is not any cleaner than the next one. As for having to buy all that equipment, well thats the price you have to pay to be in busines. All the shop are out that same amount. The facts remain, a few drops of ink from that 34 dollar, 2oz bottle goes a long way, cost per tattoo 50 cents tops. And still just use 1 needle out of that box of 50 at $25 bucks a shot, total cost per tattoo 50 cents. The "cases" of gloves are still used 1 pair at a time, cost per tattoo 15 cents. Copy machine and paper can't be factored into the cost because it is spread out over the years of service you get from the machine, cost per tattoo, pennies. For the cleaning supplies, thats pennies per tattoo, also spread out over the time. Anyway you look at it, it never cost more than $5 bucks out of your pocket to do a tattoo on anyone. You can fool some of the people all the time, but not all the people all the time. You may want to keep your day job, rumer has it that your guys got busted tattooing minor children, any truth to that?

Well I guess u need to do more research. It cost alot more to do a tattoo right. And you can think what u want I'm not going to put other shops faults out there BC I am a professional. Anyone that knows anything about being clean knows we are the best. I did say we work with anyone's price but looks like ur so cheap it would cost me to tattoo you. And u can talk all u want we do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 period. U can legally get a tattoo at 17 with parental concent. And they can only cover up gang related activity. But we don't even do that so talk all u want. We do everything 110% here

u pay a mechanic labor to fix your car cuz its just sweat off his brow do u expect it to be free...u pay for skill and that is what it takes to do a great tattoo
