R.I.P Sal Timoneri .. Mio Zio Bello ...We miss you and still cannot believe you are no longer with us.
Jason you hit it on the mark with the evil people theme ...my uncle had many evil people in his life..I hope those people rot and never get to enjoy what my uncle had built and was so drastically taken away from him by evil evil people .... but I know the Lord will prevail and those people who hurt him will suffer dearly...just wish I could witness it....you know who you are...
Really? "Mio Zio Bello" - You cared for him so much that you never visited him or called him when he was alive. When you knew he had problems with his family and with his health none of you cared to inquire or reach out to help including his own brother. The only thing you did was listen to rumors and one sided stories and not anyone of you had the ability to be objective to pick up the phone and call the Salvatore Timoneri's family and try to assist as a family member should. Putting any resentment you had aside to try to be supportive as a family, but what you chose to do was condemn and be judgmental toward his family members, continuously assisting in the degradation of a family. For instance "I hope those people rot and never get to enjoy what my uncle had built and was so drastically taken away from him by evil evil people," I am not sure who you are referring to fanny "those evil evil people" but you should consider furthering your academic skills. You might want to take a refresher course on the bible, when you turn to god you should also know that when people wish ill upon others they have there own misfortunes waiting for them behind the door. Before you put such bold statements out like that, you should get your facts straight. Stop talking like you are from a different era and at your age you might want to be a little bit open minded and not repeat the same old family riddles.
As a son still grieving for his father, my immediate family and I happen to be very fortunate to have a loving supportive family that is always there at anytime for us no matter what.
Furthermore based on your statement above on how much you loved your uncle your words have no validity, it is action not talk that counts.
P.S. I want to thank you all for being by his side for his last two days of his life here on earth to comfort him and hold his hand as he passed. But yet he did not die alone, I personally was there and slept overnight to be with him from beginning to the end. He also had my brother and mother there for the last night here on earth. I understand your absence as life is to busy or maybe to distant of a commute to see a loved one on his death bed.

Wow, I came here looking for info on the Sal's Pastry Shop in Old Bridge and found a million posts that look like it could be a transcript for a Jerry Springer episode of the Timoneri family. You guys should take your family issues elsewhere, rather than fighting each other on public message boards.

Second, to the guy who thinks that its a coincidence that another business could possibly be called "Sal's", its not like the name is Rumplestiltskin, it's SAL, one of the most common Italian names. In fact there are about five bakeries named "Sal's" in NJ alone.

Are you even sure you have the right one? Hell, it could be the one in Old Bridge you are talking about. So, if the guy in Jackson is innocent, that would make YOU the evil ones. I wonder how the Lord rewards those who attack and threaten innocent people. Well, you let me know, because it looks like you'll find out.

I am a frequent visitor of Sal's pastry shoppe and all I have to say is this entire forum is ridiculous. I've been going to sal's for years and he hasn't been anything but a stand up guy. I've never bought something there that dissatisfied me, I've gotten cakes, pastries, etc. All of his stuff is always fresh.... As far as this unbelieveable Copy cat scenario, I mean any body who has a head on their shoulders knows that is just ridiculous. Bakery's have the same stuff, it's as simple as that. the only difference is the quality of the stuff which at Sal's is always up to par. I feel for sal and his family for being harassed on here for no reason. a lot of you are saying that evil people stole your uncles recipes or what not. well in my eyes you are all the "EVIL" people trying to hurt sal. And as far as the last couple of post written by the disgruntled customer, why don't you go to sal's store and explain to him yourself the problem if there was one, he's a great guy and I'm sure he would understand and do his best to fix the situation. If not then let it rest. I find in situations like this, when people talk badly about someone who is a good person it is because they are jealous and want to see this person fail. Well Sal I'll tell you on here and I'll tell you next time I come in, your a great guy and my opinion of you will not be altered because of the selfish evil people on here.

Tony you might want to look a little in your closet and take out yours and your wife's skeletons before you feel qualified to judge any
body else,(and God knows you have many of them!)

I have no idea of what this whole mess of stolen goods is about but I have picked up some butter cookies that had the classic melt in your mouth buttery taste and they certainly deserve at least an 8 out of 10 score so I have to give credit where credit is dew. However like all reviews I unfortunitely must give a hands down for quality as far as there cheese cakes go or the one I purchased at least. After cutting portions for my thanksgiving guests my mother in-law who in this bakery's defense (is NEVER HAPPY) had noticed a sort of greenish blue color staining over the bottom witch I have to assume can only be mold. As much as I hate to admit it she was right and I was left feeling nothing but embaressment as family members are trying to respectively put there napkins up to there mouth. Being that this was only my second purchase I kept in mind that we all make oversights so I had called to let them be aware of this and instead of being thanked the young lady accused me of making my purchase too many days ahead of my get together causing the cake to mold. In an attempt too remain civil I demanded her supervisor only to be told to return the cake for inspection wich I had agreed to but after explaining that only one quarter of the cake remains she had the nerve to mock me and sarcastically told me that my company really enjoy most of the cake huh.. Maybe some people have wronged them with complaint or maybe this young girl is just working too many hours but I didn't deserve that and I should of been passed to a supervisor no matter how busy he/she may be on the holiday...Who ever complained about bad business practice was correct..I will not stop here either I wrote her name wich I will not say for privacy and will reach the owner eventually expecting a full apology.. Final review is one thumb up for tasty cookies and two thumbs down for moldy cake and overall service and professionalism.

Hi, im a local at jacskon and i've always wanted to try sal's cupcakes because i love cupcakes. I walked into sals and a lovely lady got of of her phone to assist me. I got the white icing on a chocolate cupcake. The cupcake was decent but the icing was a different story it was either really dry or to much of some ingreident. I'm not saying it to put your business in a bad name, but maybe take my opioion and others as well and maybe change the icing frosting again... It's just a suggestion. But thanks for taking your time to read this

This guy sal is truly scum. I walked into the
Bakery on July 15, 2012 only to see him with his hog in the homemade pies. What kind of person performs such horrific acts. I have reported
Him to the national pie association.

Hello folks.... I worked for Salvatore for about 20 years. He's a decent, honest, loyal, and caring man. His "original" sals bakery has been a landmark for years and years. But, I'm sorry to say I have a few grievances. I once witnessed him taking a monster dump and then dropping his dirty toilet paper into the cake batter. I said " sal shouldn't you throw that batter out" he responded " that's our secret recipe." I fully support the timonerie family, they were the original sals bakery and will always have a special place in my heart. The son Charlie is a model citizen and future President of NASA. He deserves a better shake and royalties for this betrayal. Please support charlie and donate money to the " get charlie a penile implant" ladies and gentleman this thing couldn't pleasure a baby goose.

Hello folks! I visited sals bakery a few weeks ago in the fine state of New Jersey. I was very disaponted in the taste and appearance
Of his products. His canoli tasted like a seman flavored tootsy pop. I also noticed a few pubic lice in the vanilla icing. I am strongly suggestion a boycott of sals bakery

great question jenny, They are closed. they just couldn't hack it. You people are so tough on the internet. Learn how to keep a business open first then you can talk all the smack you want. Nice mouth Silvia. I bet your just the woman every man dreams of lol. Your all such a joke with your stupid little comments. respond all you want, i'm done with this bullshit. Turns out in the end everybody truly did get what they deserve. Life is great and it all turned out better then expected...

Oh and by the way Silvia the next time you would like to try and make fun of someone on-line you might want to go borrow a book from the library first to teach yourself how to get the facts straight so people may actually believe you. That "original landmark" bakery that you worked twenty years at is not called sal's pastry shop. it's astonishing to me how low your I.Q. is. Then again i could be wrong maybe you did spend twenty years of your life working in a place that you could never remember the name of lol. if that's the case then your dumber then i originally thought. Now go on google.com and look up some info so you can try again. i would also like for you to stop giving my father all the credit for your secret recipe joke so the man may rest in peace if you can find it in heart or empty head to do so. It might actually make you seem like somebody that has a slight conscience with better things to do with their time rather then make fun of someones dead father...
