Way to go Mississippi! Another state taking a stand!

Quote:
Opponents said if the Mississippi bill becomes law, it could lead to racial profiling that will cause immigrants to flee and could leave crops unpicked.
End Quote

Be legal or have a problem. It's not called "racial" profiling, it's called letter of law. Crops aren't going to rot. These *excuses* for breaking the law are getting so tiresome and old.

Quote:
The bill, sponsored by 15 Republican House members, would require immigrants to carry documents showing that they're legally in the United States. It also would allow law enforcement to check people's immigration status.
End Quote

What's new about this? Our immigration documents signed by visitors and legal residents already require visitors and students to carry their visa and legal residents to carry their green card. It is a misdemeanor not to do so.

These pro-illegal advocates should be sent to prison.

Whether you like illegals or not you must follow through with the law and represent the citizens of the state that you "work for" why must some advocate for those that reside illegally and place a burden on those that you at one time swore to represent?
We need more "real" people to represent us at least on a state level rather than lawyer types who think on level other than that does not fairly represent their citizens.

The article says:'"The intent of the bill is to drive people of out of Mississippi, Latinos in particular. And we call that ethnic cleansing," Bill Chandler, director of the Mississippi Immigrants Rights Alliance, said during the rally in the Capitol rotunda.'

Don't you just love ignorant, poorly written propaganda? Anyone with any reasoning faculties at all realizes that if latinos are the largest group of illegal aliens driven out of Mississppi, then they represent the largest population of criminal illegals in the state. Duh. That's the fault of latino illegals, not the state. DUH! The state needs cleansing of illegal aliens, and if they are mostly hispanics, then that's the way it has to be. Hispanics aren't special, privileged people and don't deserve any more than anyone else.

"Illegal aliens" is an all-inclusive term, but dumb sh*t people like Chandler like to think hispanics are all there are. No one cares about 'hispanics' per se. They care about illegal aliens. Hispanics and their supporters need to get over themselves. If their illegal shoes fit, they'll just have to wear them.

"One of the ‘founders’ of the Reconquista (reconquer) Movement some years back said:“We call things RACISM just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to RACISM, not because IT IS RACISM, but because it works.” Alfredo Gutierrez, political consultant, as quoted by Richard de Uriarte, The Phoenix Gazette, March 14, 1992 (quoted in The ProEnglish Advocate, 1st Quarter, 2002)."

Excellent! Let's not forget, they use the word 'racist' whenever they have nothing of substance!

Ethnic cleansing involves removal from the gene pool.

Using that term to describe implementation of law and order belies the desperation the left is feeling on this issue.

Where's their concern for the economic cleansing taxpayers are being subjected to by illegal aliens and unscrupulous businesses?

I agree with any States Legislature that does the right thing to rid their communities of illegal aliens. The ones that are currently in Miss. are probably the same ones that were in AL. until the Law was passed. If every State implemented the same laws, the Pedro Klan would have no place to go, but home where they belong. I live in So. Calif. and have done so for 42 years. I can tell you personally, that Calif. has suffered greatly since the invasion and colonization of the State. Stop the coddling and get down to business. If their illegal, then they MUST GO!!

The using of the term "ethnic cleansing" just like "Nazi" is an insult to the millions of people that have actually been victims of ethnic cleansing.

So if I illegally immigrate to Mexico and they catch me and throw me in jail, then they are RACIST and bigots and want to keep Caucasians out !!!!! How dare they be racist !! What no food stamps section 8 and free education for my children. I find most pro open border, pro "undocumented immigrants" are usually hypocrites and expect citizens to pick up the tab. With limited resorces we can't support the world.

With the limited resources and massive debt we support more than our share of the world. Mexico has an abundance of resources. How much foreign aid do they give out every year? How many legal immigrants from less fortunate countries do they accept every year? How much aid do they give to their own citizens every year?

"About 100 people, including immigrants with small children, on Wednesday gathered at the Mississippi Capitol to protest an immigration-enforcement bill that many called unfair and inhumane."

Because they won't allow illegal aliens to flood their state. These illegal aliens have their own country.

Even during the revolutionary war times there were Americans who sided with the British, they were called traitors.

If this goes through, Chandler will slink to another state to defend his illegals, er, immigrants. He's afraid that this bill will put him out of business, that's all. Go for Mississippi!

Doesn't ethnic cleansing usually result in death?

Don't those children in the picture look old enough to be in school? Why bother to teach them English. They have to be IN school to learn it.

Immigrants Have to have their papers with them. If they don't have them, that is a misdemeanor.

Illegals don't have any papers; hence the whining.

Crops won't die in the fields. Cheap and lazy farmers need to use the H1B visa. Oops it might cut into profits; but supporting illegals cuts into my lifestyle too.

This bill is on its way to getting passed...finally a bill concerning illegals will make it to the floor for debate. Mississippi is not encouraging ethnic cleansing, rather it is encouraging the poor American worker to the fact that he/she might be able to reclaim his/her former job as well as his/her dignity. Mississippi listened to her people, and her people will no forgoet who voted to pass this law. To try to sensationalize this as anything else is just an attempt to scare the legislators off from doing what they know is in the best interests for their legal constituents of all ethnicities.
