Yes and no. Justin Bieber understands that like him, Michael started as a child and successfully translated as a mega pop celebrity beginning in the eighties. But he also knows the value of staying current by producing albums every year and staying in the entertainment spotlight. Justin Bieber has already cleaned Michael Jackson's clock as a child singer and is now looking to broaden his appeal to include young women. It would be wise of Mr Bieber to grow into adulthood and do adult music. Something Michael Jackson failed to achieve during his lifetime.
But, there has been no translation yet for Mr. Bieber. Michael, as a child had four consecutive No. 1 Hits. They are: I Want You Back, ABC, The Love You Save, and, I'll Be There.

Show me Justin Bieber's four consecutive No. 1 hits?

They don't exist. Therefore, how can anyone reasonably say that Justin Bieber is even in Michael's league, even when Michael was a child.

It is ludicrous. Mr. Bieber has even failed to eclipse MJ as a child.

'DENIAL' isn't a river a river in Egypt.

You know who that was for(JB worshiper). No not a teen, I think a pedo. You can tell by the spelling. Teens often shorten words for texting and internet language, thus they get screwed up and forget the proper way to spell. It's the newer generation...They can't spell as properly as older people. You can research that.

Thick as a farking brick with CWS. Just stop giving that loser attention and hopefully we'll all get our Christmas wish.

PS The R&R Hall of Fame would NEVER recognize JB, as a talented 'artist'. Not gonna happen. BTW, MJ got inducted twice. JB, not with 1000 singing lessons! He doesn't have the range... Never will sing as great as MJ. NEVER. You got it or you don't. Just like getting 1000 singing lessons won't turn Taylor Swift into Mariah Carey.:P

Justin Bieber's first Utube video at age 12. As a matter of fact there are many children out there that can do better.

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Michael Jackson's Motown audition at age 9 going on 10. He had a gift that is rare and made him stand out from the rest.

No you can't. You are just a nothing hater, who has done nothing but judge and criticize those that have done something.
Your words are therefore worthless.
Everyone has an opinion, like they have an a-hole, and your opinion stinks just like one. Just like the rest of you haterz.
Take your haterz opinion and put it where it belongs, up your a-hole.
Critics are just writers that work for a publication.

Most of them simply give their personal opinions in their reviews.

It does not always mean that you have to agree with their articles.

You would have to be easily brainwashed to follow what critics do.

I listen to music or see a film and either like it or I don't.

I don't listen to critics because sometimes they are dead wrong.

Everybody has a right to their opinions and everyone is different.

You follow what people tell you, which is a sign of weakness.

Go and drink the kool-aid because Jim Jones said so, Chas.

Oh yeah, now, back on topic.
The only person that Justin Bieber has so far replaced is Leif Garrett. Mr. Bieber is just the latest teeny bopper idol. At this point in his career, he has replaced no one else.
Mr. Bieber has issued three or four mediocre albums, and he has supposedly replaced an artist how had the greatest selling album by a solo artist?
Get real.
Leif Garrett was never as popular as Justin Bieber, Chas.

I don't recall Leif Garrett ever hitting #1 with anything.

Justin Bieber is just lucky because he is in the internet age.

He sucks beans and his appeal is mostly for the pre-teen set.

For all Jacko's faults, he was still better than Justin Bieber.

But in reality, he was just kiddie pop.

He just got lucky in the eighties because he could dance.

Parents did not want their tots listening to Heavy Metal.

Jacko had a clean, wholesome reputation at the time.

Justin Bieber has 4 #1 albums, Chas.

It took Jacko 13 years to hit with "Thriller"

The Jackson 5 and The Jacksons were a singles group in the 1970's.

Bieber sucks but he is still doing good business.

He is the flavor of the month that is somehow, sticking around.

Just pure luck of the draw.

BTW, Rolling Stone did their "100 Greatest Artists Of All-Time"

The July 31, 2011 special collectors edition.

The Top 10:

1. The Beatles
2. Bob Dylan
3. Elvis Presley
4. The Rolling Stones
5. Chuck Berry
6. Jimi Hendrix
7. James Brown
8. Little Richard
9. Aretha Franklin
10. Ray Charles

Jacko was at a lowly number 35 down their list.

I respect Rolling Stone magazine with that excellent issue.

However, most of their regular issues are trash.

They are a current publication on today's music and culture.

They try to be hip.

King Justin has two best selling compact discs on billboard this week. He is selling like hotcakes in this new generation of youth requesting his new number one release, "Believe" for the holidays. However, Michael Jackson's poor selling opus, the massive dud of the year is at a very pathetically lowly number 186, two weeks before Christmas. King Justin is preparing for his next musical venture in the new year of 2013 with the new gold crown placed firmly on his head. Good things are happening for King Justin with his new single surely earmarked for the number one position. Justin and his management team would like to thank all his fans around the globe for all the wonderful success he has had in 2012 by rapidly reaching his ultimate goal of beating Michael Jackson and taking his crown so quickly and with ease. Justin is amazed and dumfounded. Congrats, King Justin for a job well done. Looking forward into the future, Justin will continue to destroy all of Michael's achievements in record time.
