Eric Clapton never played better.

It certainly destroys "Stairway To Heaven" and "Freebird"

Both of those classic rock songs are way overplayed.

The recording industry goes for what they think kids want to hear.

Their taste is really bad and it is getting worse. Shame.

But there are always bootlegs for the rock collector like me.

I seek out some amazing stuff from the rock era.

Real music played by bands either live or in the studio.

Floons base what they believe is good only by inflated sales.

It is like they have be told what to listen to.

I was never like that. I bought music and liked it on my own.

I never followed what others were into, just cause it was popular.

Critics are basically writers giving their opinions, right?

So as a music lover, I should be able to give mine.

I decide what is good or not. I never follow what others tell me.

I've heard great albums that were panned by music critics.

I've heard lousy albums that got excellent reviews.

I am very disappointed by most of the new music coming out.

I ignore most of the so called celebrities around today.

They mean absolutely nothing to me because I just don't care.

Nothing beats recording in a studio with other musicians.

Nothing beats live performances with or as a band unit...

That is my opinion and I have a right to express it.

The quality of music changed drastically by the early 1990's.

There isn't anything that I can do about that, can I?

I don't care who you call the "King of Poop". I will say that Michael Jackson's fan base is (and was) much wider than Dustin Beaver's. Beaver's fan base is 13 and under girls, while Jackson's was/is in just about every age group. I have a daughter who was 13 when Beaver first arrived, and she can't stand him or his "music".
