disgruntled shopper

I was in lowes the other day and could not believe the horrible service I received there. I especially could not believe one employee in particular...a manager named Tyler. He seemed to have absolutely no clue what he was talking about and he was an absolute dick head prick when he helped me. Talked to me like I was stupid...lowes has terrible customer service and I feel sorry for anyone that has to take on a position under that type of management...won't be back soon so hopefully manards will be better then lowes.
Is there anyone else that has issues at this place

i was in lowes a while back to buy new appliances and i wasnt sure of the product i wanted there was 3 guys standing over to the side a talking about a girl that had walked by, as i stood there reading info, none of the approached me or ask if i needed any help so i went up to them and ask if one of the guys worked that dept, he said yes i do, i told him i had questions about the freezer, and refrigerator, he said he would be right back, he was gonna get a pamlet of info on it, i waited and waited he never came back, so i went to look for help, he was over 2 rolls over chatting with those 2 guys as b4, so i went to front desk and told the mgr on duty and he act like it was no big deal, so i went to Sears and spent my $7800.00 i also bought freezer, frige, dishwasher, riding mower, and lawn tools.

Stupid customers = bad service. What is helpful would be that BEFORE you go shopping, it may be a good idea to do a little research on your own. It's called the internet. I know a bunch of you hoosiers may not have heard of it but now you have. So the next time a Lowes employee gives you that look like you're an idiot that's probably why. Also, don't waste employee's time calling and asking for prices on things you can easily figure out on your own. Most of the time they are already dealing with a dumb customer and the last thing they want is their store phone to ring with someone that wants a price on 2X4s. One more thing, there is also an invention called a clock. They even made them small enough to fit on your wrist! Crazy!!! Another way to get bad service is to come in with a huge order 10 minutes before the store closes. Inconsiderate morons!!!

I am not certain of the name, but can second the fact that the one of the male managers is arrogant and c0cky to the customers.

There is a obese dark headed woman that works there at one of the counters and she is a real rude troll.

Expect a negative customer experience at the cape girardeau LOWES.
headquarters should send some secret observers to witness this if they care.

wow you all must be mean to the employees there to get that kind of treatment. i have never had an unpleasant experience at lowes. its all about how you treat people. it looks like it can be stressful sometimes, but i see that at every store i shop when things get busy. i was there one time and someone was yelling at the poor girl at returns cause he lost his receipt or something- hello, do you think its her fault? lighten up. i would shop at lowes anyday before going to wal-mart.

Busy I understand but when you are out and out ignorant to people who spend money so you have a job that is just plain ridiculous. But it happens all the time in cape. I feel sorry for those who have family members at the Luthern home too. They hire occupational therPist that are pot heads and beat their girlfriends. I wouldn't let someone like that teach my family members to learn essintials to take care of them selves. I am amazed at companies that hire for jobs that interact with people and never figure out those employees are dangerous and possibly deadly. And even when you report it the police do nothing

I thought the point of the job in a place like Lowes means that you have to have some sort of customer service manners. It does not matter if the person comes in & had not done any research they are there to inform the customer. Some elderly people do not know how to use a computer nor have one. So to say that people who come in shopping are stupid seems rude to me. I am sure there are people who work at Lowes that are good people. Not every business is going to be full of smiling faces all the time. Just sucks when you as a customer run across the rude ones who are there (getting paid for it) to help you.

You sound like a real jackass!!!! You don't deserve your job. In your position you are offering customer service!!! Why don't you do some "research" on that!! I hope someone finds our who you are and you lose your job.

I know this is an old post but I had to add my two cents to it; I was in Lowes back in early spring and I also couldn’t believe the horrible service in the garden center. To start with I couldn’t find anyone to help except the little blonde female employee named Belinda that was carrying on an endless convention and flirting with a male customer that had nothing to do with the garden center. She was so rude to me, I was standing within 4 feet of her and she would not make eye contact with me. I wanted so bad to tell her to get his phone number and call him after hours. After 25to30 minutes of this I turn around to find her walking off cutting up with two male employees’s, knowing I was trying to get help from her. Then, I get this grumpy lady to help out and it doesn’t end here. After checking out I had to wait another 15 minutes for the cashier to find a loader. "If" I go back to Lowes and get treated like this again I will ask for management and point out these employee’s. Menards will be a great asset to Cape.

The biggest question I have is,if you're getting product you need loaded how do you expect to get it out once you get home? If you answered with help from someone you know maybe you should've brought said someone with you. I will admit, lowes is understaffed, but all tye huffing and puffing in the world won't change that. If you see a worker approach them don't stand around like a shy kindergartner waiting for mommy. Also..if you have big items...don't send your overwhelmed wife with her 8 kids all crying and pissing her off while she brings a sunfire and needs a drier loaded while you watch nascar...you realize trucks can haul too and aren't just made for mudding
