They are the only group with enough balls to stand up to admin. and speak their minds. They are putting the children first, unlike admin. who just care about finances.
just sayin!

Admin had to know this was coming. It's been about money since Anderson moved in. It's like the school just wants bigger and better. When they are really missing the whole experience - the innocence and joy the children bring They have really forgotten ALL the elements that go into a childs education.

It's not just at North! The entire district is having problems. North teachers and parents are the only ones really speaking up about it. Bravo to them for standing their ground!!

$$$, Fisher, Anderson....all problems. Time for some folks to retire and get the hell outta Dodge. I know folks don't want to hear this, but its going to get worse b4 it gets better. We live in an imperfect world with many variable factors. We can control some but not all. The system needs to be run like a business because thats what it is. It has been too reliant upon state funding, therefore, its too much like typical government.

We must have old school reliable trustworthy businessmen/women get on the board and clear house. MUST be done. AND....PARENTS, DO YOUR JOB...BE A PARENT...MEANING....KICK YOUR KIDS ASS WHEN NEEDED!!! Most successful business people will not want or need the headaches from doing this job and many people will bitch about the things that must be done. There are a few people in this town/county that are more than able to get the job done, but folks will be angry at the actions that will be required to get the wreck cleaned up.

Amen! I sure wish people would get involved and finally stand up for the children who will one day be running this town!

The district has gone to hell in a hand basket. As a former employee, I can tell you it reminds me of Nazi Germany. If the teachers don't nod their heads yes and do EVERYTHING the admin wants, they are executed. By saying that, i mean thsy they are let go or harassed so much by principals that they can't take it anymore and quit.

Please enlighten everyone with your historical knowledge of nazi Germany. Are you a history teacher? Have you first hand experience of that era or you someone who just wants to be inflammatory and a jackass?

I know that for a fact as my daughter taught at South (there hoity toity school) they claimed her clothes were to tight and harassed her all second semester about it. Mind u they never once had anything bad to say about how she was as a teacher. The first day she was told about her apparel being to tight and to young we went to Coldwater Creek and spent $500 on a new wardrobe. Nothing was ever said back to her how nice her new clothes looked and at the end of the year they released her because of her apparel. Come to find out she was also pregnant and never realized it. There childish behavior and there over the top political bs was very heartbreaking and demeaning to her. Let me tell you they need new blood desperately so the new ways of education can be taught to our kids as the older teachers don't like it when the new teachers use some of there new techniques - they let them know that they've been using these old ways for years and haven't had any problems with them - all they know what to do is to show them the cliques beginning in kindergarten by separating them from day one. I had been a para and watched them set there little cliques it made me so upset I left the system. There are changes in life all the time it's time they started making A few of there own!

Look at all the principals in the district. Most of them have taught less than 10 years. The one at South had only taught 4 or 5! Word is that they just hired another lesser experienced person. All these people are is Fisher's minions and "yes" men/women.

Why don't the more experienced teachers(tenured)make an issue of it if they think somethings wrong. Not one tenured teacher has stood up. The only way anything will ever get done is if these people take a stand and they don't seem willing to do it. They seem to want to encourage parents to do the work for them instead of banding together and standing up to the admin themselves.
