I am so tired of these kids bullying their peers! Before you comment-my child has never been bullied. I just don't understand why this behavior is necessary or tolerated. Perhaps you should think about how you would feel if someone said those things to you before you say them. Is being rude or hurting someone's feelings really worth the guilt of their death or them killing others?? If you don't like someone simply bypass them, ignore them or agree to disagree. If you don't like how someone looks SO WHAT keep it to yourself. If you have a disagreement discuss it with maturity & if you can't walk away. I find it very disturbing that these kids commit suicide over things that once they're out of school will not matter. Please band together to put a stop to this behavior.

I agree you will hate yourself later in life over the way you were. You pay for "bullying". I have been bullied and have bullied. Both made me change my ways. School issues are not that serious. You think they are but are not. Life changes drastically every 4 years.

I want to give, those who are bullied, a little advice. If you let the bullies know that you are bothered by their comments, it fuels them. Makes them want to do it even more. If you can laugh and walk away, you're much better off. I know it's hard, but none of their rude comments are going to matter in a few short years. And remember, they are suffering inside if they can take so much pleasure in hurting you. They lack the exact thing they are taking from you...self-esteem. By bullying you, it takes the attention off themselves. Just remind yourself that they aren't worth getting upset over. Karma has a way of completing a circle and one day, you (the bullied) may just be their boss (sweet revenge).

I was bullied in 6th And 7th grade. It didn't make me want to kill myself. It pissed me off. At the beginning of 8th grade I knocked the shit out of my bully. I wasn't bullied no more. I stood up for people being bullied after that. More victims need to take control. After Columbine and similar episodes, more bullies should be scared, but they victimize bullies and make the bullied monsters. So remember bullies the next kid you bully may just get revenge. Innocent by standers will also pay for the bullies bullying. So if see a bully at work, intervene. You may just be saving your own life.

All politicians are bullies. The government is a bully. The military is a bully. Anyone with power or guns are bullies. The church is probably the biggest bully.

Bullies. They feel remorse. Church makes them feel that they are forgiven for their terrible acts. You will pay for shat you did. Good luck.

Worship me or I will have you tortured forever. I don't care if you are a good person, was kind and generous to strangers, or treated your family with love and respect. You will burn in hell for all of eternity.

Yes and why is it that these suicides are swept under the rug? Jackson needs to stand up and get out in the open what can happen! Peel your kids off the phones and make them wake up, these are real lives here!

i agree with everything said here. but i want to ask: how many of you have been to the principal, guidance counsler, resource officer, juvinial officer and Jackson police dept? As a parent of a child being bullied, i have done all these things, and recieved NO HELP from any of them, but asked what is my child doig to cause him to be picked on? Hmmmmm. wow. i have even gone so far as to ask if i could put on an all school assembly to help make children aware of there behavior. and was told no, jackson has a bully policy. But that policy didnt keep my child from being in the hospital on suicide watch now did it. walk away and laugh, they come up behind you and push you down, tell someone, it makes it worse.

I'm so sorry you and your child are going through this. My daughter is being pushed around at the Jr High. It makes me so upset. There's no need for any of this.

How bout you parents start teaching your kids to stand up for themselves. If that's happening in their school years then they're goin to get walked on their entire lives with co workers, employers, other adults, etc. you can't be a dick and bully yourself but you can't take people's bullying shit either!!

How about you parents you teach your kids about common courtesy! Why should parents have to teach their children how to deal with bullies when it would be much easier to teach your children about kindness for all mankind? We shouldn't teach our kids to deal with violence with violence! That only teaches our children to be violent which is the exact thing we are trying to avoid. Hello! Wake the hell up!

Rightttt, cause that works like a charm every time some big kid shoves you into a locker every day or kicks or punches you. Cause the bully's know what courtesy is to begin with!!! Yea I'm not saying punch someone the first time Someone is a dick to you.. But if being nice the first or second time don't work then don't be a bitch and just take it every time either. Like I said that's just goin to lead them to be trampled all over as adults as well!! Trust me. I KNOW

Kids who are caught fighting in school (even outside of school) are severely punished. You are supposed to be a representation of JHS. Therefore fighting anywhere 'doesn't look good' unless you play a sport (then, however you are untouchable). You get suspended and it goes on your permanent record. What college wants to accept someone who gets in fights? Maybe the children who don't want to go to college can be violent, but I certainly WILL NOT! I am a student at JHS and I'm scared. I ask myself: Who's next?
