all the girls there are rude. they're all the dumb high school girls who think they're cute when in reality, most of them could stand to lose a few pounds. they're all hateful.

We have had the same trouble in Counrty Mart, all the checkers are rude and pay more attention to each other than the customers. I think your right they must not need any customers because they wont get repeat business like that. Although Im sure they are the first to complain about Wal-mart or shoppers going to Cape.

I get the distinct impression that they do not want to be there. Some of them are soooo slow. I will say though that there is one, an older lady, not sure of her name, who is much faster than any of the younger girls there. She has glasses, blue eyes I think? Anyway I always try to get in her line. Another woman who works produce, darkish hair, in her fifties maybe?, is very friendly as well.

The guys in the meat department are rude. I was looking at steaks the other week and one of them came out to restock while I was standing there. He acted very impatient for me to move, even though he had just walked out. Stood close behind me, exhailed loudly, so I just moved on. We also stood in line waiting for someone in bakery to help us for over ten minutes one day. I thought I heard voices so I peaked around and there sat three people talking and drinking coffee. We had said 'excuse me' five or six times trying to get someone's attention. When someone did stand up to help us, she acted like we interupted her 'story' she as telling.

Honestly, is there any management in this store? The past few weeks I've gone to Wal-Mart and Schnucks.

I've had pretty good luck with the service in Country Mart, but I hate their parking lot. I also hate the way they use so much of it for seasonal things like flowers, Christmas trees, ect.

I agree! They are almost always rude. Whatever you do, don't ask if they sell beer! I have found the best service is at Dents Make Cents and Save A Lot. Especially the girls at Dents Make Cents.

I agree so much about the rudness at country mart, they are so unfriendly, but they will noy go out of their way to help you at all, they all need to go to SCHNUCKS at Cape Gir. Mo for training . The manager stinks at helping out on FundRaisers as the store must be going broke. It is certainly a HILLBILLY STORE from the hills.Theycan not afford to hire nice friendly people as some number ONE grocery I know.

A friend told me they have rats in there and have chased them down the aisles trying to catch them. Is that true?

Watch what they charge you for items on sale. When I pointed out to a checker that an item rang up for almost a dollar more than it was marked, she got a really bad attitude. Walking back to the register from checking the price on the shelf, I told her I was sure she would do the same when shopping for her own groceries. She informed me that she wouldn't because she had to "put up with this" all day long from customers. I believe her because I catch one of these kinds of errors almost every time I shop there. She told me that it wasn't the checker's fault the prices were wrong in the computer, and I told her that I realized that, but it damn sure wasn't the customer's fault. She was a total bitch, and they need to show her the door. Sad thing is I see a lot of that attitude in there. Is the boss a jerk or something? Is that why they all hate their jobs?

Everytime that I go during the day (when I'm in a hurry) they only have one cashier working. And I have to wait behind 4 or 5 people for what seems like forever! It's like they aren't aware that customers are usually in a hurry, and don't want to spend 20 minutes paying for grocerys. I love Save a Lot the employees are so pleasant, and if they are checking out someone with alot of grocerys they will call for another cashier.

I've actually had to bag my own groceries several times in there because the young check out girls threw my items down the belt after they scanned them then rang up my total took my money then proceeded to check out the person behind me before my groceries were even bagged up! The older lady who works days is nice but the rest of them are hateful. The old lady in the deli has been bitchy to me numerous times. They need bettercustomer service for sure

Ive had the same problem in the deli with the shorter old lady with short hair. Shes always in a bad mood and slow. Then theres the other one with curly whitish gray hair (cant remember her name..) and I have to say, she is wonderful. I go there every week for groceries and she always knows exactly what I need. Most polite and courteous lady there.
