Why doesn't the police say something to this ambulance service in town about their speeding? I have never in all the years living in this county ever feared for my life but they are going to kill someone. Lee, Perry, Owsley or McIntosh can drive normal what's with that arrowmed bunch!
Wondering

Maybe its an emergency. If their lights and sirens are not on, then im with u. But if they are, they expect us to get out of the way.

Legally, an ambulance is only allowed to go 15 MPH over the speed limit when using lights and sirens. Without lights and siren, all traffic laws apply to an ambulance just the same as anyone else. It is illegal to drive over 15 MPH past speed limit with lights, and an ambulance can be pulled over and given speeding tickets.

Bull$hit. An ambulance driving with lights and sirens is allowed to drive as fast as road conditions allow. I've already posted the relevant laws in another thread where someone was b1tching about speeding ambulances, so I ain't gonna do it again.

Yea I saw it also. It came thru Jackson, the cars behind it coudn't see to drive and the motor was knocking like a drum beat. It could be smoking because Jay is using off road diesel mixed with used motor oil from East Ky Salvage because Trumbo Oil won't bring him anymore diesel because he can't pay his bill.

I seen them driving 85 and they had no patient. I was following them and they pulled into their station. I don't have a problem when they have a patient but when they don't then are they really a need to go that fast? I don't think so. It doesn't matter what the name is on the side of the vehicle
