Jay talks about all of the trained people that will respond to a emergency call. Last night he did not have any paramedics working because when a 911 call came in for chest pains at Hounshell Road all he sent was EMT's. Saying what you will do and doing it is two different things. As for Breathitt covering Wolfe County you are right, that means that each county gets a 50% service. To "Annoyed" if you think that Breathitt Countians are ignorant why don't you pack up and leave?
I'm not saying all Breathitt countians are ignorant, I'm talking about the ones who post comments on here with no clue as to what they are talking about!

You bunch of jealous hobo's. I wonder why all of McIntosh ambulances personnel begged to stay on with Mr. Arrowood. They did not want to go back. But Steve wanted so much for a nothing ambulance that it was not worth it for Mr. Arrowood to fool with. He is really doing very well. 500 runs a month I would say that's not bad for a little ole boy from Canoe, KY. Started in in an old store house used to be Deaton's grocery and he kept moving toward Jackson until he soon has what he has. Not to bad for a poor country boy. He's done good for his family and his self. Don't you think?

No he couldn't afford to make his payment is what really happened. He got in way over his head. And the employees who had to stay with him are the ones who begged and are still begging to come back to McIntosh.

Their will be classes started shortly for first responder's and anyone wanting to take the class can do so and pay up front for the class. Not sure how much it is going to be at this point. But once you pass your test and are certified then their are many opportunties out there for this need right now. I am willing to help all the ambulance services to get new hirees and even the fire department. I am a licensed instructor and looking forward to getting this done for the community. With 3 ambulance services we will be able to put many more people to work and that's what it is all about. Creating jobs in this low economy place called Breathitt County. I will post more information later when everything is finalized. If anyone is interested please post and only serious posting please.

You love blowing smoke out of that pipe of yours don’t you? This statement proves that you are a clueless, troublemaker. However, if it makes your day brighter to post lies about innocent people on Topix, then you go right ahead & enjoy your sunny day.

I think every damn one of you EMT's, Paramedic's and First Responder's ain't got enough sense to blow snot out of your noses. You all are a bunch of idiots that should be put in pschy ward for being so damn crazy. You know that is where they put crazy people. Many of you are running around lying to one another, lying to the other ambulance services, and Jay knows all about this and he loves to stir in shit and make it stink. Except it smelling on him and no one else. Jay thinks he's got all these fools fooled around here but people know how he is and how he treats people and comes back with that Bible talking stuff. Anyone can quote scriptures but living it is another story. Guess that's why he is failing so at this because dear Lord is just not in it. Amen!!!

You bunch of dumb asses should be worrying about your frigging jobs around here. The state is breathing down everywhere and you should be glad their are a few jobs in this county. You know when the county gets hours cuts, the school system is took over by the state and so will the county and city eventually. Then guess what? You bunch of idiot ambulance assholes will be out of a job or working for the state on less hours and less pay. So get a life and get yourself a grip and try and keep your jobs. Unless you want the communist to come in and tell you when to get your asses up and when to go to bed. You all just a bunch of pussies trying to work in a man's world. Don't know shit from apple butter. That goes for Arromed and Mcintosh services.

People seem to think EMT's work for the money, HA! It's all about the patients, and the good people of Breathitt and Wolfe county. If we wanted to make the big bucks, we would be into politics or become lawyers. Everyone loves to criticize, but walk a mile in our shoes, deal with people who are at their worse, sit in the back of an ambulance while a patient pukes on you, defecates, on themselves, tries to hit you because they are in pain or mentally altered. All this and keep your composure, clean them off, and give them words of comfort. We do our best with what we have, and we are there for when you need us. Thank you.

You can work in a hospital and give the same care as you are talking about and clean-up the same messes and have great care for your pts. The only differance between us is we will stand up for being treated right, you show dignity to your pts but treat yourselves like a dog begging for hours just to try and pay your bills. Nurses stand together and get their money and benifits rightly due them. You people in ems cut each others throats and it's your own stupidity that keeps you from excelling in your field.

Thank you so much for taking the low road, and calling me stupid. Guess I should bow down before you because you belong to a union. Good for you! Not all places have that available to them. Guess I should just quit trying to be employed, pay taxes, and help people. I guess I should just go on the draw and let you support me because you are so superior to us all.

What a load of crap! If you work there you need to leave. You don't like it, make some effort to improve it instead of being a low down snake in the grass!
