I think the people should vote for Mary Lou Hamilton she is the one and only vote. She has taught in the school system for years and was a principal and doing a fine job until Little Man Arch Turner run her out of office. So who in their right mind would put someone in who knows NOTHING about the school system. Mary Lou has been there seen that and knows the low lives!

Mary Lou is a low life. Biggest b****teacher I ever had. She had no compassion for her students. A snob who thinks she knows it all. No way in hell she can win! Why would people vote for someone who thinks her s*** doesn't stink. She's hard core and has no business in politics. She was appointed the seat she's in right now, not elected. AND her daughter in law already holds a seat on the board. That shouldn't be permitted either!

I would love to see the Kentucky Department of Education send someone in here to clean house. In the past they have sent retired Superintendents into districts and performed a complete takeover. That is what needs to happen here.

Many people will say "we don't need an outsider", or some such nonsense, but it is obvious that this entire county has proven ourselves as not capable of providing an honest education for our children. Until we can do that, I say turn it over to someone who can manage it.

Of course that might mean someone's niece, nephew, daughter-in-law, etc. would lose a job and we all know how much more important that is providing an education for our kids. This place makes me sick to my stomach sometimes.

Is the Allen Strong that is running for school board any kin to Bear Strong? The one that's in trouble for vote buying.
"Whicksfinest, that is a Big B.S.!!!! That is just what we need another Strong with power.
You people get on here and talk about change, Well I have yet to see that. Breathitt County citizens stand together and take over the Breathitt County School System and those that was bounching to the bank with those two to three checks because they had three titles, get rid of Ina, Shirley and Mr. Gross.

Turner's CREEKERS control the whole county already. Strong and Hamilton should just lay down and let them have school board, too. Why let those people have it all. They already have a magistrate that DOES SO MUCH that he doesn't even have time to brush his teeth. They hold the jailers seat and all the jobs in there, county attorney and soon county clerk's office. Wake up people! The county should be renamed TURNER'S CREEK!
Because people on Turners Creek are truthful, brush their teeth, do not steal and are NOT afraid to stand up for our School systems. Sounds like you need to brush your teeth and GET A JOB!

I agree with you completely! What do you think could make this happen? Who do we call to get it started? They could get everything straightened out and then watch over the next school board. That really does sound like the best option.
