You guys need to slow your butts down especially when you are not running emergency and have no patient. I followed one for several miles coming toward Jackson. They were going really fast with no lights or sirens. They were running around 80-85 coming up the straight stretch at 205. I was hoping a cop was there to see what would happen but of course there wasn't one. I followed them to see if they were on their way to the hospital but instead they pulled into their station beside of Save-a-lot. Just because you are in an Ambulance does not mean you can speed and break the law. SLOW DOWN because people will be watching.

How many times you people gonna post the same things on these poor ambulance driver's? Don't you know they work hard at working hard? What's your problem? You jealous you can't do 85 and get by with it? The one going through Jackson from Hazard the other night was probably going faster than that. They was trying to save a little sixth grader's life that had been shot down at a college up there. An innoscent little child so don't always think they are just out beating their meat and goofing off. Afterall, they might just be the one to pick up your sorry asses one day off the road. I hope not but you know what they say about karma!!! And jealousy!!!

Driving faster on an open road is one thing but through a congested area is another. Driving fast for no reason is just not right either. They are trying to cover two counties with a limited number of ambulances. I actually saw the Perry Co. Ambulance drive past Wendy's the other evening and it was not driving like they do. It slowed down as a caution at the red light and made sure that everyone was out of the way. My child is a new driver who likes to listen to loud music as many teenagers do and just learning. I have talked to him about this. What if he didnt hear the sirens and they were going so fast that they couldnt stop? What if they hit or cause an accident by not being cautious and thinking that everyone knows what to do. People don't stop to think until it is too late. I have started to notice other ambulance services and I have not witnessed anything like them. What if they cause an accident with your child or family member either driving or an actual patient on board? Think about it people.

No I am not jealous. I just think they shouldn't be going that fast when they are just returning to their station. It is uncalled for. It would be different if they had a dying patient in the back. I would say it about any ambulance service and not just them. I wonder if the cops would give them a ticket if they caught them. I bet the DOT would. It is not right. If I were their partner then I would tell the driver to slow their butt down because it was not an emergency to hurry up and get back to the station.

They had a kid who just got ran over by his uncle's truck in the back and the lights and sirens scared him. Need to think before you post crap, you ignorant bitch.

could not help but comment on this...if the ambulance was going 80-85 then you must have also been going that fast to follow them into Jackson. What gave you that right to speed?

First of all if you are going 80-85 you better have lights and sirens going. Second if the patient is inside the ambulance and not stacked on top, then the patient cannot see the lights. Third if the patient is more scared of the lights and sirens than dying then their probably going to be ok. So there is no need to be driving like an ignorant Nathan ambulance driver.

These people on here are so unbelievable when it comes to Breathitt County Ambulance Service. Are you so jealous of a young boy who started out at 20 years old with a carpet store on Canoe mind you and then on 30 and then in Walmarts lot and then Sears and gues what "he was able to buy his own lot and building?" Sold carpet all over eastern KY and sold furniture for a while. Did pawn shop for a while which was a mistake but we all make mistakes or all you people perfect. He is a good husband, father, son, grandson, brother, stepdad, Uncle and preacher. He could still be out there doing drugs and drinking that's what you all would want, right? But someone that has come from a poor family and makes it you all want to put down because you don't have the ball to do it yourself. What is the matter with everyone? You know jealous and strife will take you to hell if you ain't careful. I'm glad he's made it I wish others would do the same. Everyone had the same opportunity he did at that time. Good luck!

Why donít you TEACH your new driver to not drive with loud music? Teach them to more focused on the road instead of their music. It is distracting to them. They will be trying to find the right song to jam to, when their eyes should be on the road.

I don't see how Arrowmed is still operating since they don't have a medical director. Their director quit because he didn't want to be involved with all their missing narcotics on a regular basis and their high risk of being sued because of their inadequate service or should I say lack of service.

You can run lights without siren, KRS 189.920, it's up to the operator.. Dr. A. Johnson will resign when new Medical Director is in place and reason for resigning is because of affiliation with Dr. E. Burnette and new Suboxine Clinic. They cannot be Medical Directors because of conflict of interest with new Clinic. Ooops you were wrong. Sorry

I could care less who owns the service. I would say the same if it was McIntosh, Lee County or Perryor whoever. You don't have to be going 85 to tell when they pass you exactly how fast they were going. They were moving on and were backing into the bay when I came by. I have seen the damage that those things cause and I wouldn't want to be hit by one. Just saying please slow down if they have no patient because an accident can happen to anyone.

You are actually quite wrong yourself. Dr. Johnson was in fear of his medical license getting yanked because of the shady/illegal activity at Arrow-Med. I don't care what you've heard or what you THINK you know, but this is the TRUTH.

I bet there was not even a paramedic on the truck. They have three BLS ( basic life sapport) and only ONE ALS (advanced life sapport ) on duty in Breathitt county, so you see what Arrowood really thinks about is money. See, he uses his ALS Paramedic to do transfers out of the hospital and most of the 911s in the county only get a BLS unit. And most of them are new EMTs that are right out of school and don't even know how to put a COT into the back of a truck!! This company is such a laugh. Might as well put your loved one in your vehicle and take them yourself! and the law says all ambulances MUST abide by the KY state regulations as any other vehicle unless they our in route to an emergancy then they still have due regard witch means only speed if safe to do so and must stop at all lights and only when safe can you run a red light. Just WHO is their medical director?????? call him and complain and call KBEMS (ky board of emergancy medical services) sure hope the Jackson Fire Dept gets the city and hires people with experiance and knowledge. Go FIREDEPT!!! I love you guys and I know you truly care about this community and it is high time that EMS is turned over to them and run these private services out!!!!!!!! They just want MONEY care less about us.

GO ROG-O..........need respect put back into EMS. Arrowood is intimidated by anyone who really understands how to handle emergancies he has NO clue about anything, he won't even get on a truck and see what all is involved in car wrecks and saving lives. He has no knowlege of EMS he is not a EMT or a paramedic or a fire fighter! He was told by Terry he could make millions running an ambulance service ha ha GREED is the Devils trick, he miss treated alot of good people and he knows it is the truth he believed in a lot of lies and many lost jobs because of it he let the devil In and is to blind to see it. MONEY the ROOT of all evil! GOD knows everything he sees all and taking suppies from the hospital is STEALING!! and you know your NEW employees did. so call yourself a preacher if you want but the same comandments I have to live by so do you. One last thing I must say is I pray for my enemies and I do GOOD to them who despitfully use me for their gain and GOD be the JUDGE of it all. For what matter you judge greater will your judgement be.
