i think it is crazy that this person robert brewwer hasnt spent a day in jail there is so much crap being said about the mothers of these little girls and that dont even have anything to do wit the case.they are trying to make them look like they are lieing.there is so much that has come out about this man doing this before i dont think they r lieing.he should be tryed an punished for what he has done to these little girls.i cant beleive someome like that would be a teacher where you send your kids and they are supost to be safe

He was accused of this before more than once. Just come to trial anyone who thinks this man is innocent. You will leave with a different view of Mr Robert Brewer.

I think every person has the right to prove if they're innocent or not. This is why we have a jury and the court system i'm sure they are doing all the investigating and researching every aspect in this case. I believe they will prove one way or the other and i think people should keep their opinions to themselves until all the facts, and evidence are made clear to the jury. I believe they will do this and we shouldn't destroy a man's life intil all is proven to be true. It'll all come out in the wash!

i think the people should read the front page of the clay city times about the arrest of robert brewer. Arrested and under 175,000 dollars cash bond, trying to buy cocain. what's this all about. now i wonder about the children, is it true or not. He has plenty of company in jail, 11 more were arrested in the sting. Go buy you a clay city times and get an eye full. I actually though he was innocent in the molesting case but now i wonder what else do we not know.

I agree with you. Noone really knows someone like they think they do. Here is a 3rd grade teacher and now lets see; there are 4 children that have came forward so far and now the drug charges as well as money laundering. SOUNDS LIKE A BAD APPLE TO ME. I hopw they get the man-he had no right to ever be teaching young children.

WAKE UP CAMPTON RESIDENTS. This man is a pervert and now it seems he has been for years. This 3rd indictment was for a older girl. I think anyone in wolfe county whos child or family member had this man for a teacher needs to ask them if anything innappropriately happened to them. It is a known fact that most children do not tell unless confronted. We need to protect our children from people like this. we may be surprised just how many he has bothere. Remember all those preist started with 1 child and by the end there were over 20. A child molestor doesnt stop at just one. Where there is one there are many.

First of all, which teacher taught "someone who cares" how to spell?? Lady, it's lying, NOT lieing and it's tried, NOT tryed, and there is no such word as suppost even though that's how you probably think it's pronounced. There are a lot of great teachers in Campton, but apparently this chick dropped out, headed to the government assistance office and started her career of living on my tax dollars way before she learned how to spell. How sad. Secondly, let's please operate on innocent until proven guilty...otherwise, why have a justice system?? I mean whether he's guilty or the parents are of lying....the little girls are still victims. There's a lot of people who will be permanently scared by this. If he's guilty shame on him, and if the parents are putting these ideas in their childrens head then that's very sick too. Third thing, I think our tax $$ should be invested in cameras being placed in schools. This would protect both the children AND the teachers. Violation of privacy?? Ask teachers..most all would happily agree to this. Most folks, especially men don't even want the profession anymore because the risk of these accusations being made is very likely. I hope this is resolved soon & people shut up so these little girls may have a chance of leading a half way normal life, if that's still possible. Lastly, there's all kind of stories circulating that make me question all parties involved, but I'm neutral...it's not my job to determine guilt or innocence based on hear-say, so you people shouldn't either!! There are a lot more details than released in the news...hopefully they will surface in court and justice will be done.

I also agree that we should wait and here the facts in court. I hear of so many that are accusing this one or that. So many saying people are getting paid and so on. I personally do not believe these children of this age would make this up. That is however my opinion. We all know kids can tell lies and some are very good at it but I don't think so in this case. Not about something of this nature. I do know that this same teacher was accused of this before at another school so that would be something to look into.

Sorry but no I am not wrong. He taught at Dessi Scott and yes he was accused there by more than one girl. So get your facts straight! It is in his record and will come out at trial. But you are right he wasn't charged the wolfe county school board (which runs Dessi Scott) swept it under the rug and sent Robert Brewer to Campton Elementary to do the same thing again which is a outrage!!! They figured thte girsl at Dessi Scott were just troubled girls and noone would believe them so why bother. If you dont believe me call Dessi Scott although I don't know how much they would tell you but he was accused of sexual abuse there as well by more than one girl.

Lets see-he was housed in the powell county jail for 2 weeks but now they say it was for wolfe county for a sexual abuse indictment. Why if he was arrested in wolfe county did he not go to three forks where all people arrested in wolfe co. go to? Maybe because he was arrested in Powell County as it was first reported. I don't know but something isn't right about the whole thing.

I do agree that someone is innocent until proven guilty but when a child is involved and this many children then something is up. You must ask yourselves why did this man refuse a lie detector test numerous times?? If you were accused of something like this and you were innocent would you not say of course ask me anything! I know I would but he refused which in itself told me he was 100% GUILTY!!!!!! He should spend the rest of his life in jail getting what he deserves. I have no sympathy for anyone who abuses a child and even less when it is sexual abuse. These girls have to live with what that sick man did to them for the rest of their lives. They will never be the same again and that is so sad. Jail is too good for this man-should be old justice. give all the parents of these 3-4 girls a few hours alone with this man. That would be justice!

What trial were you at? It was so obvious he was guilty and the only thing and I mean the only thing that got him off was his good old buddies. What jury is going to vote guilty when he had 1/2 the town saying he is such a good boy. PATHETIC! Oh well maybe he'll do it to one of those friends children next time. He is guilty and god knows so thats the jusge that matters.
