Romney just said on tv to his circle of friends, that he would"cut off the 47% of the moochers who draw Social Security,S.S.I.,welfare,food stamps, veterans pensions and compensation, etc."So if you vote for him get ready to lose you checks. So dont let being a bigot get your benifit checks cut off.Get out and vote for Obama to keep you checks or you wont have nothing. You will starve to death.

now start scare stories about cutting people off on social security or cutting the needy.romney did say that many on government dependence said they knew that obama's policy won't work. you see we're borrowing money from nations like china, germany and japan to help pay for things like social security, ssi and foodstamps.the more jobs we lose the less we are able to pay this money back.soon we won't be able to pay the interest on these loans. our economy is sinking and soon these countries are going to meet to decide if they should keep loaning us money.do you want your grandchildren, great grandchidren, great, great grandchildren(if any are left by that time)paying for the foodstamps and ssi you receive now? because if you do these countries are going to extract from them.you better think about that.another thing is obama said that social security needed to be cut.so what do you think obama is going to do to social security? do you think he should give foodstamps to illegals and your descendents have to pay for it? they do give illegals foodstamps because i have seen them using foodstamp cards.they don't want to be citizens, they know somebody has to pay for all these goodies.shame on you wanting the next 3 to 4 generations to pay for something that they won't have any benefit from because of fools like you.

Truth is, ppl like me need to pay more in taxes and pensions and retirement for state employees needs to be cut. It is an unpopular truth, but true none the less. The Baby Boomers are sucking us dry because they will live 30 yrs in retirement using pensions and SSI and Medicare until the government is broke. There r too many of them and with advances in health care they will live longer than previous generations.

We need some law makers willing to fall on their swords risking not being reelected by cutting some of these pension retirement programs and raising taxes. Raising taxes on cigarettes and alcohol could probably pay for universal healthcare, too.

He actually said that he couldn't count on that 47 percent of the vote. Not that he would cut out the entitlements. But you must include in that 47 percent those that vote the ticket and not the candidate. Those that would vote the ticket if the devil himself was running on the ticket. Most of these are working people that just can't see the light and whose families have always voted the ticket. Most of these were raised on the government entitlements. Most of these can't see beyond thier own little world. Which usually includes only themselves and immediate family. In other words they are mostly uneducated or have recieved sub standard education.

Raising taxes. The republicans act like you shot their dog if you mention more taxes - for the rich at least. They'll want us to keep paying a third or our check though - or more. BUSH - first president ever to start a war and cut taxes at the same time. You all know very well who screwed our future.

Those Baby Boomers that are bankrupting the government supported the Government during their long years of hard work. Here's another hard fact. Back when those Boomers were growing up, the Government promised them that if they paid into to system those benefits would be there when they needed them. This promise was backed by LAW. Slowly, over the years, politicians eroded that promise by changing the law and setting up the world's largest Ponzi Scheme: Social Security. Now the bottom is falling out on that con job and politicians are trying to squeeze as much as they can out of it before it totally collapses.

Cutting off the Boomer generation should not be an option.

The TRUTH IS: less than 1% of our national budget is spent on foreign aid. A good deal of THAT is spent on Foreign embassies and staff. It is MUCH cheaper to maintain healthy diplomatic relations with other countries than to go to war with them.

I know this is a touchy subject, but really, did the Boomers only work because of this promise to get it back? Talk about a redistribution of wealth -

The Boomers have sucked the system dry so that their children and grandchildren have to pay the price. They will be healthy for a lot longer than previous generations so that many will keep their positions in the work place while also taking advantage of some of these other benefits. That keeps younger workers from moving up the ladder while emptying the government pot so that those younger workers will miss out on that too.

How is it a redistribution of wealth? The boomers are getting back just a small percentage of what they paid in. You know. Their own money.

It's not the Boomers sucking the system dry. It's the politicians who continue to raid the Social Security coffers. Did you know that when Social Security first started (when all of these Boomers signed up), Social Security was called the Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance program? There were no Social Security taxes then, members paid premiums, no different than the premiums charged by Safe Auto or State Farm. Did you know that the money paid out by the Social Security Administration is only a fraction of the money they collect in Social Security taxes? The rest is used to "buy" US Government Bonds, and the proceeds from that sale is used to buy missiles, bombs, and fund tax cuts.

tax cuts for the rich and famous. they have quit using the term 'trickle down economics'. its too blatantly obvious. let the rich have the tax breaks and they might give some of the rest of us jobs. but no, it would be cheaper to outsource those jobs oversees, more profit. guess they'll get back to us about jobs, after they've made enough profit. does romney have a plan to fix unemployment. never heard it if he does.

you're right about obama (i presume you mean obama)wanting to give tax breaks to the rich and famous.he wanted to give multi-millionaire movie stars a big tax break in the stimulus bill but i don't believe he got it.obama also fought hard to get billionaire movie producers a 50% tax break but never got that either because they're his buddies.but since states like california(they're broke) and colorado have democrat governors they got nice little tax cuts for movie producers.in colorado people like tom cruise, goldie hawn and ken russell only pay 400 dollars in taxes on real estate that is worth millions.it pays to have a friend in the white house.i almost forgot i believe massachuetts also gave hefty tax breaks to movie stars.yes it pays to be rich and famous and be a movie star.well mitt romney will probably start issuing mining permits left and right which will help ky and stop all the coal powered power plants from being closed which will probably keep electric bills from going higher.and we need our corporations to come back home from china, that is, what is left of them.wal-mart has been trying to sell some quality stuff that is made in usa but it is higher then the cheaper lower quality stuff from china.so that selling made in usa is hard for wal mart to do.i noticed they were clearing some made in usa stuff the other day.they can't seem to sell it at clearence price.so that didnt go very well.

they keep raising the retirement age so that no one can draw back out much of what they paid in.

Stop giving to nonamericans, stop sending money overseas, stop fighting wars that are not in the US. Really! Just go and print out some more money and give it to the people who need it. Not the rich. People would work if they had jobs that actually paid some money and they didn't have to work their butts off to only make it from paycheck to paycheck. You people act like these people are getting rich off of social security. Could you live on less than 800.00 dollars a month? Some don't even get that much. Only the lucky ones get more than that and they have worked for that.

Well, it is a sad reality that once you pay it to the government, it isn't really your money anymore no matter what you're told. I do agree with you that SS has been mismanaged and it is not the Baby Boomers' fault. I know that I am paying into SS and will probably never see a dime in my old age. I can understand feeling a little cheated or like you are being forced to take care of an older generation, but it has always been that way for the current generation to some extent. My gen had better be preparing for retirement because we will not have the government safety net of Social Security.

Quit lying, he didnt say he would cut them off, he figured right, there is more than 47% in Ky. drawing...it is 49% and these are not people who have worked and earned a check. Most of them are drones who think the government owes them a living.
