This may need to be a federal case for all to join. I went to a location in Illinois. Issue with all this being is this may help the future students but not entirely help those of us with mounting debt. I would personally need about $22k to get rid of the high interest rate private loans. I think as a whole we will all have to accept the federal loans, they will work with you and there are several income based repayment programs, but we need to get ITT to pay all the private loans off! Free us from their oppression!!!

I'll gladly join in. I went to ITT Tech for a Bachelor's in Digital Entertainment, when I was about to finish the Associates program to start the Bachelors program I was told they're no longer offering the Bachelor's program. I could care less about this crap Associates degree I have; my local community college transfer degree is 500x more valuable to me than this 25k dollar mistake. I finished with ITT 2 years ago, to which I try not to relate with at all since leaving and today I find out I owe 500 dollars that was mysteriously overlooked for 2 years. "The old Director of Finance overlooked it" is what I'm being told...please....they can have this Associates degree back, just clear my student loan debt from that ridiculous Institute.

There have been four ITT Tech ads on the TV while I have been looking for someone with a class action lawsuit or some kind of lead. I'm not finding it here either. Pennsylvania ITT dropped the BS degree after they had me enrolled, but told me my credits would transfer. They also added the line in the ad "To prepare our graduates for an entry level position." which wasnt there when I got conned into attending. Is there a school I can spend $40 grand to prepare me for an entry level job at McDonalds? Oh, wait...Thats what I got from ITT!

My self and about 25 students have my back to bring itt to court. We all have been lied to, sometimes not given books for the entire semester, and we have all been deceived.
We have seen individuals get passed just so the financial aid can keep on coming. We are a veteran community, therefore the vast majority of the students are, it sickens me that this school(itt) could lie to our hero's and let alone play with the federal governments money. We are all ready as soon as it becomes a (class).
I know at least 20 people here in SC that will join your suit!

ITT tech was not a good fit for me, either. I felt the emphasis was more on meeting the demands of the Oregon Board of Nursing than it was to have a competent faculty & cirriculum that would automatically meet the nursing board demands. I left that school and entered a nursing program where the faculty and cirriculum were strong, approved by the nursng board and I learned more in 6 months there than I did in an entire year @ ITT. too bad, really. students leave there with a 47k student loan bill and only an associate's degree in nursing. for 27k I got an LPN license and then went on to get my RN/BSN for only an additional 10k. They also lie in admissions stating that a student will be able to set up a personal loan program to offset what student loans will not cover, but that is not the case. Overall, I was very dissappointed and would definitely participate in a class-action lawsuit if Oregon's AG ever proposes it.

I attended ITT Tech in Richardson, Texas and They promised me a part time job before any financial aid and sure enough, FA kicked in and explained to them I could not afford it and they promised me a job and then there excuse is "Well if you can afford it, looks like no school for you pretty soon"... I was totally LIVID!!!!

I went to ITT back in 2004-2005 and racked up 20k in loans before I figured out what they were doing. In short, they were passing everyone in the class and eventually stopped even giving us instructors for "core" classes using a book that was 5 years old (in tech field, that is obsolete). I went to seek other education elsewhere where I could actually learn something, I found out my credits and classes were 100% useless. I also couldn't take out other loans because of the amount already being taken out. instead of refunding my grant money, they held onto that money and made up some extra fees paid directly to ITT. I have tried to fight this in the past with no success. I hope and pray someone takes this place and shuts them down for good.

I went to richardson ITT back in 04-05 and they did similar things. When I tried to fight and expose it I was "taxed" even more on my loans. To this day I have a 23,000.00 loan debt with no way to repay because I have no way once so ever to go back to school and take care of my kids. I went 2 semesters without instructors at all in the classes but was forced to drive in daily for attendance. I to this day can not get anything in writing for transcripts for those classes.

I did all online classes because they called a month before i started and said they changed the program and was fully online instead of half in school. I was promised a laptop and signed papers for it but once it changed i was told we would not get it. I had thought going into this that it would be one lump sum for my degree for Business Administration getting a Bachelors degree but instead i was sent a paper to fill out each semester for a new loan for the next classes. There was not a choice really on what loans, it was given to me to do and that was it and it was always a different loan such as Chase, Sallie Mae, Parent Plus Loan, etc. This was so difficult once i graduated to consoladate them so i would not have in the teens to twenty loans to pay each month. It took my whole deferred payment time hasseling to consolate which still is in 2 loans private and federal which i went to Wells Fargo and EDFinancial and is so expensive i can not afford to live on my own. $80,000 is going to haunt me for the rest of my life.

I tried looking that same thing up myself but it mainly says to talk to a lawyer to get started. Maybe contact the lawyers for the most recent lawsuit and maybe support their case. If you find out anything please let me know.

I attended ITT for an associates degree in 2011 and I graduated in 2013. I had no idea how much they charged until I was a month away from graduating and now I'm looking for justice. ITT charges an excessive amount of money for a two year degree that is deamed "worthless" in almost any other school or company. The only way I was able to get the drafting job that I have now was through past jobs. I'm agrivated at the fact that I have to pay almost 40,000 dollars for a degree that should cost a fraction of that. ITT Tech has had problems in the past and has been in lawsuits multiple times and I honestly feel that they should be shut down. I hope that justice is served for the students that fell upon this money hungry scam.

I would love to join in on this. I attended in Oklahoma City 2008-2012. I was completely disappointed with my degree and the career services that never helpd. I have a good pying job now but its from who I knew and my reputation in Amarillo, Tx. I still owe $30,000 fr a stupid wall plack. I could have got the SAME degree from a local community college for $2400. Yea. Im Pised. Let me know what happens with this.
These stories sound awful. I've heard many more like this, for other kind of what my friends warned me against, they called them "McSchools". I was looking at Art Institute and some others. The school was big, and sitting on some Expensive downtown real estate! I don't have any first hand knowledge, but I was scared away. Still researching; I'm ⅓ Programmer, ⅓ Artist, ⅓ Librarian. And 3 times a lady. Have struggled with keeping the most germane skill sets current, and trying to convince companies they need me & my weird (but sound) ideas.

I need to know how to become a part of this. I was so hopeful for ITT, it took me 6yrs to get my degree due to travel. Every new location I ended up in a found the nearest ITT, waited for the terms to roll over so I could take the classes I needed, didn't even need all the same courses for the same degree at different schools, I took asses that where irrelevant to my degree for different ITT's, I tried to get a job after I graduated and it was impossible. 2+ years later I've had this useless degree and a huge debt. There placement program is BS. please give me more info.
