Brooklyn beats out Manhattan in population boom
Census data shows that the city's largest borough grew by 2.4 percent to 2,565,635 between 210 and 2012, which surpassed Manhattan's 2.1 percent growth to 1,619,090. Queens came next, adding 1.9 percent more residents to 2,272,771 followed by The Bronx's 1.7 percent jump to 1,408,473 and Staten Island's 0.4 percent increase to 470,728. The new ... (more)
