Gore raps Obama on climate change in post-Sandy speech

Dec 6, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Reuters

Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore on Thursday sharply criticized President Barack Obama, a fellow Democrat, for failing to make global warming a priority issue, saying action was more urgent than ever after the devastation in the Northeast from Superstorm Sandy.

Your "new plane" is never going to be a solution.
1. The payload capacity of the plane is barely a few hundred pounds.
2. A flight to Chicago would take 25 hours.
3. The story says that even an astronaut would need special training to fly it.
Fine. And the power source? Four lithium batteries each of which can produce..........drum roll)........TWO HORSEPOWER!
So how much do you pay your pilot to fly 24 hours non-stop? How much would you charge to deliver that 200 pound package?
(The rest room aboard is nothing more than an open window. Fly the friendly skies??)
It's obvious you don't know squat about energy or aerodynamics. You are pinning your hopes on an ultralight which, during hours of darkness, is required to do a long, slow downward glide, because it doesn't have enough power to stay aloft. The thing is nothing more than a glider with four weakly powered, extremely expensive lithium batteries, which weight 220 pounds apiece.
Back to the drawing boards!!
Hey, doom and gloom, I bet you never thought a black guy would be elected president of the USA, once, let alone TWICE. Go back in your hole and sulk.

No winter in Michigan?
In Detroit, about 2 degrees and 6 feet of snow the first two months of the year, and some deep freeze.
What the hell are you A-holes saying? Most of us have not even worn a winter coat yet and it's almost Christmas. We've had record droughts all over the country and undeniably strange crazy weather patterns. Most of you A-holes deny any change in the weather, let alone the fact that it is caused by man. Not so ironically you SAME A-holes tried to convince the rest of us that Rmoney would be OUR PRESIDENT. KEEP your Republican math, religion, and science. It's all BS. Don't bring us all down because you want to make a buck selling your miserable souls to the devil.

While you are wringing your hands, wondering how to pay for S S, and Medicare, ask your Congressman if you might use some of that money the Government used for useless energy projects, and the Study in how to defend ourselves against the Zombie Apocalypse. Yep the money was part of a Democrat appropriations bill in the last session. You can't make this stuff up.

That's quite a comeback considering the comment was on feasibility of ultralight solar powered aircraft.

Why would anyone be surprised that a "black guy" would eventually be elected president. Would you be surprised that a "black guy" named Herman Cain would run for the position of the Republican canidate.

Would you be surprised if the next elected president was a woman? I would not.

Actually, no. You are on the other side of that crazy coin. There is no "crazy weather" and there shouldn't be, especially locally. The increase in temperatures in the upper atmosphere should have a stabilizing effect on the climate, and it's not. This little fact is what has climatologists actually worried, an increase in temps is explainable, but an increase in temps in one location while the weather stays pretty much as chaotic as ever on the surface, is not explainable.

Al Gore is a moron too, he feeds on sensationalism and nothing more. If you think his "the world is doomed" crap is based on reality, you haven't actually read the science.

You're worried about the weather? So what are you going to do about it? What will it cost? How long will it take? Did you decide on what the perfect temperature should be in every place on earth? What should it be in New York? Miami?

Some facts, dolt: All man-made energy used on earth would not raise the world average temperature by 0.2 degrees. Which means that if we stopped using all energy, the temperature would not go down by more than 0.2 degrees.

We are just coming out of the last ice age, which had the coldest world temperatures in 500,000,000 years. Out temperatures have been rising for 10,000 years, and are still at near record low levels.

You got a problem with the earth returning to normal?

Do you have any idea what Shrillary will look like in four years? What is she going to do with her spare time until then?

Her personality is pure poison. And Hillary NEVER takes the blame, or speaks the truth.

Big Bozo knew what he was doing to set her up as the architect of a Middle East collapse, with the potential destruction of Israel and a nuked-up Iran.

Hillary will be grumped out somewhere, that's all.

Funny but he had said something similar back in 2007. Then "H. Clinton" was considered all but the defacto president-elect. Yet a year later it was Obama who was the winner.

So why should anyone thing that she has any more chance than she had last time.

If there is another democrat win in four years I doubt it will be her.

Hillary wants to make this a government a form of argentocracy, she would be a horrible choice that would even make Mitt look like a good person. Lady Gaga or Madonna are the best options for any female to hold office right now.
