I don't follow sports but my brothers a big Yankee fan or at least used to be, he said he won't go to anymore games until they get rid of all the old washed up has-beens on the team. He's furious today he said they keep trying to get the Felix guy from some team and keep walking away with bums and did it again, whatever that means.

Your post should be rephrased it should read 'I can't beleieve how many frontrunners can turn on them'. The diehard fans are still hanging on, though are becoming fed up with the lack of support from ownership. I find the luxary tax excuse laughable and a slap in the face of fans who are subjected to the highest priced tickets in the game. I'm bracing myself for quite a few years of rebuilding, hopefully that will start with the sale of the team.

i just got a tweet from a good friend of mine in Tampa who's at the complex this morning. He says the Captain is at least 25 lbs over weight and they try to hide him on the back fields. Do they even have a competent back-up infielder let alone a back-up shortstop ? Sounds like another Brian Cashman production, just sickening.

You're in for a long 5-7 years and it's because of guys like Captain Cancer holding them hostage. Brian Cashman should be fired ASAP if for nothing else just for the joke of a farm system. The only chance they have is playing in the weakest division in baseball. What's your take on Cano now being linked to PEDs and do you think with the accusation hanging over his head that will keep them from signing him, if they can afford him. My take is it's the best news that's happened to the juicekees i'd stay far far away from him. Do yourself a favor and stay out of that Juicekee forum you dont want anyone in there posting in here. The most knowledgable baseball guy in there is a Red Sox fan and even he refuses to post with them. Give me a private message I probably know you, I know quite a few people in the Juicekee PR dept.

As far as I'm concerned, the real WS will be the NLCS between the Nats and Dodgers with the Dodgers winning it, although Strasberg will be the best in baseball this year

Momma, assuming LA and Wash have the 2 best records in the NL, with the Dodgers first, can they face each other in the NLDS? If the Giants for example make the WC, will the Giants play Wash or the winner of the Central?

With the extra wildcard team in play the Giants can also play the Dodgers, the seeding will depend on regular season records, the teams with the two best records cannot play in the divisional series

A bad couple years as a Yankees fan is still better than being a Red Sox fan.

The Curtis Granderson injury isnt the way to start a season. But it gets worse, I have seen in paper print and throughout the internet whispers of Alfonso Soriano, oh God please NO!! I would hope this team wants to take steps forward not back, a 37 year old outfielder that cant play the outfield, strikeouts as much as Granderson and has been known to play at 100 percent when he desires isnt the way to go. Maybe this can be an omen, maybe now the Yankees start getting rid of some of the deadwood ( yes i'm talking Texiera, Cano, Sabathia, AROD and if he dosent want to sit while they rebuild Jeter ) for whatever they can get from whoever will take them, if they have to eat maximum salary so what and they can get rid of Girardi and Cashman too. It's evident looking at the dismal ticket sales that fans are tired of this team, it's time to clean house .

Good post but it'll never happen, the boys have made it very clear they won't spend money which leads me to believe they wont get rid of anybody if they have to pay a major portion of salary, in other words they're stuck with them and would rather not compete . As for Soriano coming to the juicekees, he's been quoted as saying the Cubs have a better chance of contending and he's very happy with new management, which bothers the hell out of me, i was ready for a good laugh seeing the juicekees get him LOL. Thanks for the PM the other day I had a feeling we knew alot of the same people and look forward to meeting you.
