Gun Control would have only avoided this if the shooter of the gun was a responsible registered gun owner. And the chances of this shooter being a registered gun owner are HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

Criminals aren't affected by gun laws since they get it from other sources (usually the underground black market which doesn't give 2 shits about gun laws and isn't affected by control).

LOL, i'm as liberal/democrat as they come but i'm against gun control. It would have virtually zero effect on society.

How about reducing the number of guns that can be illegally purchased. Gun dealers leave areas where there are lax laws and bring them to urban area and sell them to these idiots who shoot young girls on buses. That is what I worry about.

instead of blaming the guns for every crime/murder committed, lets start turning in these criminals...
if you know something, say something...
time to start "snitching" on the people you know are ruining your neighborhoods...
nothing is going to change in "certain" communities, unless the people living there are willing to change and take responsibility.

Less LEGALLY available guns will mean less ILLEGALLY acquired guns.

No it will not. There will ALWAYS be illegal guns available BECAUSE there is a market for them. Career criminals (the people that commit the vast majority of gun crimes) will not decide to get a real job because you made a law that disarmed the law-abiding.

In fact, the opposite effect will be seen. Criminals will be emboldened by the fact that they have a monopoly on guns.

Your laws will only create more victims.

You are probably well-intentioned in wanting more gun laws, but in the real world it will do more harm than good.
