To my mind, Loretta Lynch stuck out as a praiseworthy prosecutor when she hit international contractor Bovis-Lend Lease with a $56 million fine for overbilling for large-scale construction fraud in 2012. At that time, she also began an investigation of Skanska, the current holder of a half billion contract to repair the Brooklyn Bridge. In this case, Skanska's partners are the Koch Brothers. In light of the July 2, 2014 collapsed stone wall at the overpass of Washington and Prospect Streets, we may be hearing from Loretta Lynch once again.
