tell that to congress....
Wouldn't be surprised to see even more new taxes like the new taxes in Obamacare to pay for this continued out of control spending,

such as a VAT tax or a carbon tax.

They just never stop the tax, borrow and spend.

It is unfortunate that in these lean times for the American people, our politicians do not hesitate to run up bills on our tab with lavish trips and vacations, from Obama's golf excursion with Tiger, the separate planes on many of his trips, to Biden's excess,
which apparently was approximately a half million dollars in Paris and London for hotel costs alone,
they just do not hesitate to spend the taxpayers money, and frankly when the government continually increases its budget, and in fact considers a freeze in spending to be a spending cut, there is something very wrong in Washington.
Our politicians have made themselves into the elite, living large on our hard work and sacrifice, and refusing to cut spending or government.
Until they realize that they are our employees and they are given a great responsibility to be prudent with the people's resources, our debt problem will not come under control.
It's going to get worse before it gets better.

Half the country blindly follows the Democrats and the other half blindly follows the Republican party. No one thinks for themselves anymore. 90% of the people that consider themselves "politically informed" haven't had an independent thought in their lives and only parrot talking points from the corrupt party that they blindly support.

Most of you won't ever wake up, some of you won't wake up until you're on a bread line. If you haven't woken up already, you almost certainly fall into one of those two categories.

Now we are seeing confiscation of portions of people's savings in cypress, only a matter of time before it comes here,
someone has to pay for the politicians waste, kickbacks and payoffs, as well as the out of control entitlements.
we probably have about 10 years before this confiscation of savings comes here. The end result of the liberal policies pushed by the corrupt media and the democratic party
We don't have 10 years - this Administration and its enablers at the Fed have been looting Americans' hard-won savings for over 4 years now, printing fake "money" and depressing real returns on Americans' retirement savings to near-zero.

just amazing what our politicians do,

voting themselves raises and benefits,

raising taxes on the rest of us to pay for their waste, kickbacks and payoffs, all designed to keep them in power,

using the enablers at the fed to steal our savings,

and to boot they end up naming bridges after themselves, as if these useless politicians have ever done anything that would justify that.

They're still the Triborough and Queensborough Bridges, and the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to me.

now people are proposing taxes on email

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/03/27/sh...

the crooked politicians keep looking for ways to fund their kickbacks and payoffs,

classic case is andrew cuomo the designer of the economic crisis at hud, now giving a payoff right before his reelection contest

http://www.stargazette.com/article/20130325/N...

just another payoff from a politician looking to help himself regardless of the cost,

just like he pushed risky mortgages on the banks at hud for political gain and created the economic recession.

our politicians will stoop down to any low in order to ensure they stay in power.

apparently it is almost impossible to fire bad government workers, just like getting rid of teachers in nyc the home of the rubber rooms.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/03/27/wh...

these workers rake in money at our expense, have job security based on our taxes and then while we are all trying to make ends meet, in the face of continued high unemployment and higher costs, higher taxes and more fees,

they spend their time working to make any cuts as painful as possible to the people paying the bills, while the obamas go on another taxpayer subsidized vacation.

it is just like the teachers striking to hurt the children and actually saying "it is for the children".

and lets face it, expecting the democrats to be voted out, when they continue to payoff the 47 percent who are on the government dole is futile.

they start with 47 percent in their column.

our future is starting to be clear, fewer and fewer people will be working hard as the benefits of working disappear, resulting in less and less funding our government, and more and more government spending and waste, with more borrowing until noone will lend us anymore and our currency will collapse.

this is the legacy of obama and the democratic party.

I'll leave it to other posters to stuff the long, long laundry list of corrupt and criminal Dem pols down your partisan gob - because frankly your idiotic partisan trolls and deflection bore the living shit out of me.

Get back to us when you actually have something substantive and responsible to post about how we can stop this country from circling the fiscal & economic toilet bowl under the current incompetent Administration, mmm-k?

"The issue is use of taxpayer money, especially since Mr. Obama has shut down the White House to visitors, citing the cost of security. All these trips cost millions for Secret Service protection; couldn’t they just skip a few vacations so taxpayers could visit “America’s House”?"

"But no, the Obamas don’t care a whit about that, or the perception of them living high on the hog while many hardworking Americans are struggling to get by — and hoping to save enough for just one vacation this year.

And that perception, juxtaposed with reality, more than nearly anything else, tells you an awful lot about this president."
