I was one of Dr. Goldsteins first patients. I totally loved him and even had a crush on him for a while. I will miss him terribly. There will never be another Dr. G.

Dr. Goldstein was my primary care physician, but more then that, he was also my friend. When I went for an appointment, he would always ask me to stay a little longer and we would talk. Not necessarily about me but about anything. He always made sure that I went to the most helpful specialists.

Just can not come to the correct words to express my sorrow at this mans passing. May someone see his light, and decide to follow in his path of being a healer. I live in AZ and never knew him, but truly feel a heavy loss today at the news of his passing.

My wife and I were Dr Goldstein's patients for over 15 years. He always took his time with us and was a compassionate doctor. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

David was my friend and my professional colleague. He was a very good physician, a father, a husband and a wonderful person. We will miss him dearly in our medical community. My sincerest condolences to Margaret and his daughters and family. May he rest in peace.

Words alone cannot express the great sense of loss I felt when I heard of Dr. Goldstein’s death. My heart is truly saddened. I have been Dr. Goldstein’s patient for a long, long time. He was a talented and attentive practitioner, as well as a wonderful and caring human being. Dr. G. was one-of-a-kind and, as such, he actually made a “trip to the doctor” something to look forward to, with his charming smile and easy laugh. I will never forget that mischievous twinkle in his eye, which makes me smile every time I think of him. I believe there will be a void in the hearts of all who knew him, as David H. Goldstein, MD will be greatly missed, no matter where they crossed his path in life. I cannot imagine the loss his family and friends are feeling and I want to express my deepest sympathy and prayers to all. I will keep his memory within my heart as a reminder of how life should be lived - to the fullest.

I never have heard of the man, but from what's said on these posts we lost an excellent-medical professional and a fine man.

I remember about 20 yrs ago a Dr Goldstein from Dix Hills drove 28 miles to my m-i-l's apartment for a bedside visit cause she couldn't get anyone else. She was in her final days. I bet you it's the same man.
