Users of the Sonoma's Tasku application designed for multi-channel media distribution have reported malware attacks on their iPads. These attacks have been attributed to a remote code execution vulnerability in the application. SC5's programmer Martti Malmi worked with Tasku to improve the publishing of various types of media, such as magazine samples and single versions of newspapers that enable them to be viewed on the iPad. Attempts to reach either company have bore no fruit but we hope that users can be careful while using such websites.
